An interesting development in Indianapolis, which could signal that all is not well with Peyton Manning, and his knee. Both Quinn Gray and Jared Lorenzen have been signed, to help bolster the QB position (fairly obvious they could not rely on Jim Sorgi). I must admit to liking the Gray signing, as I thought he could be a steal for someone, after looking good in Jacksonville.
One other point (no relation), in regards to a thread on
Betfair as to how anyone in the UK could support an NFL team, as we are in the UK.
Let me say I have been a Browns fan since 1984, through thick (and alot of thin). When the team moved (and Cleveland lost the franchise), I was a lover of the game only and supported no-one until my beloved Browns returned to the City. I go over as much as I can (normally see a couple of games a year). My wife and I have lunch with the staff on gameday, and are invited into the Offices during the day (we are well known there). We have developed a very close friendship with the Senior Ticket manager (who has been over to the UK to stay with us- his 1st and only ever visit outside of the US). This year we are heading over for Thanksgiving (will see 2 games), and celebrate the day with all his family (around 60 odd people).
To all those who say you cannot support an NFL team, let me just say- Although I live in the UK, I bleed Cleveland Orange and Brown.
If you do a Google search on what it means to be a Browns fan you will understand how much this team mean
