Not playing any totals today...been burned on my over picks lately by too many runners left in scoring position
I like 2 games tonight Grga: Angels and Brewers
Angels -1.5 or ML, haven't decided yet
The D-Rays haven’t been profitable all season and I don't think things will get better tonight, especially if their best bat isn't in the lineup tonight. Julio Lugo, who leads the club with an .886 OPS, is listed as day-to-day with a bruised right finger. The D-Rays are trying to ship him out to the highest bidder, so it’s unlikely we’ll see him at the plate against the Angels tonight. Tampa has lost both games without Lugo and both were multi-run defeats. More of that could be in store for the D-Rays today against Ervin Santana. The Angles righty held the D-Rays to two runs in seven innings in a 9-2 victory just 10 days ago.
Brewers on ML
This has been a depressing series for the Pirates. Pitt began the season with a series in the Brewers’ home park and back then, the year seemed so full of promise. However, the Pirates returned Monday night with 35-65 record and nothing to look forward to besides the offseason. "No way did we think we`d be 30 games under (.500),” first baseman Sean Casey told the
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “With the team we had, I don`t think anybody thought we`d be this bad." "Nothing has really worked out like anyone thought it would," first baseman Craig Wilson added. The contrast appears to be both demoralizing and distracting for Pittsburgh. The team committed four errors as it dropped a 12-8 decision to Milwaukee last night. They had trailed by as many as nine runs in the game. The Brewers also get their ace pitcher, Ben Sheets back tonight.
