World Golf Championsip!

Tigers record in this tournament is magnificent. His last 5 finishes read 1st, 1st, 9th, 1st, 1st. Pretty damn impressive. Whats not impressive is his price. He's 9/4 to win again this weekend and only for his poor finish last week at Bay Hill it would have been even shorter! Anyway its a bit short for me so i'm gonna be betting in the "without Woods" markets.

20 Points E/W on Ernie Els: @11/1 Els has been playing well this year without actually winning, hes played well in Florida before and has finished 12th 1st and 5th in his last 3 visits. He can afford to finish 2nd here to his old rival Woods for the bet to come in.

7 Points E/W on Robert Allenby E/W @40/1: Gonna keep the faith with Allenby for another couple of weeks, this easier course looks like an ideal opportunity for him to get himself into contention this weekend.

8 Points E/W on David Toms @22/1: Another old friend of mine who owes me a good perfromance! He has a great record in this championship and has finished 4th 5th 13th 6th and 53rd over the last few years.

2.50 E/W on Stuart Appleby @100/1: Appleby has a good record in this tournament, 2nd 16th 11th and 6th in the past few years. Hasn'tbeen in greatform this year but hopefully he can return to form for this one and give a good account of himself.

5 Points: Top US Player without Woods:Charles Howell @12/1

Verdict:
20 Points E/W on Els @11/1
7 Points E/W on Allenby @40/1
8 Points E/W on Toms @22/1
2.50 Points E/W on Appleby @100/1
5 Points on Howell III to be top American(W/O Woods) @12/1

I like Els and Singh in the market without tiger 11.0 and 13.0 with stan james els has the course history, singh the form.
Can't argue with your each way picks chief, Allenby for instance has a huge consistency level.

I'm going VJ this week, his form is again superb and hits it a mile which we want round this course. obv woods is a factor, so going to have a cover bet on him. i really can't be bothered trying to sneak e/w bets in- i'm going for outrights and so taken the two market leaders of course!

Re: World Golf Championsip!

Decent start for all picks apart from Appleby who had a nightmare and looks likely to miss thecut at+7. Allenby shares the lead on -5, but we've been here before this season with him. He's been leader after the first round on at least 3 occasions over the past few months but has never managed to keep it going for the weekend.

Els disappointingly bogeyed the last but is still well in touch on -2. Toms had a pretty uneventful round with 16 pars and a birdie and a bogey to leave him level for the tournament. Howell III is currently top American but theres a long way to go yet.

Re: World Golf Championsip!

Tiger back to his best as he stretches away from the field and surely extends his excelent record in this tournament. It's hard to see him losing from here.

My pick Els was looking good until the last hole where he double bogeyed. He's 2 shots behind 2nd place and needs to put in a decent round today if the bets gonna win. Allenby and Toms are both gone after poor rounds yesterday. In future i'm just gonna bet on Allenby to be leader after 1st round. Its hard to understand why he can't string 4 good rounds together.

Howell III has 2 Americans ahead of him and like Els needs to shoot low to make me some money. Its all about 2nd place now. Well done Mr Woods.

Tiger does it again! Even a final round 1 over par 73 couldn't stop him as he finished 2 ahead of the pack.

Allenby had an excellent final round of 67 to climb back up to 3rd. Those 2nd and 3rd round 74's wrecked his chances. Toms and Appleby had poor weekends finishing 45th and 35th respectively. Howell finished in 16th but had 2 yanks ahead of him so that was a loser. Thanks to Allenby I finished more or less level for the tournament.
