yeovil were great at both matches and they deserved
the place at wembley.
I survived at first leg, betting forest, and i couldn't believe
how lucky i was,in fact forest,to won that match.
Tonite yeovil lost a hell a lot of chances to score more goals and
secure it before extra time.

I never saw the game but its a crying shame Forrest are still dwelling in the lower leagues fter watching them so often doing England proud in the 80's under Cloughie.
Its a tough league to get out of as Leeds will find out next yr as every game for the minnows is like a cup final to them.

When Man City were down there we only escaped with the help of the Ref against the Gills but it was hard as hell to even reach the playoffs.

I'll have to catch up on tonights game tomorrow as i've not seen Yeovil yet but from the sounds of it, it looks like they are capable of giving Blackpool a decent game in the final on the assumption they qualify which i think they will.

More than capable Slick. I thought they played enough stuff in the first leg to show that they could trouble Forest, although I was roundly shouted down by the more knowledgable Forest fans that I know. In fact, I went as far as to guarantee to them that Yeovil would score at the shitty ground. I didn't expect them to actually walk away with the play off spot though

Bah, you pesky Man City fans won't let it lie will you, keep on raking up the past

Still, we made it up the next year, beat Wigan. Depressing really - play off finals against Man City and Wigan, now look where they both are, and we're nearly back where we started

I'd love to, Slick, him or Tony Pulis. Never wanted either of them to leave, but Pulis ended up having to go due to off-field events, and Taylor was obviously going to go higher up. If he comes back he can bring Ade Akinbiyi back with him as well
