Brit Forum Summer

Whats the plans? A dead forum etc. Can we turn it into the aussie forum or would that just be a ridiculous idea? The aussie thread gets awfully busy. Maybe thats a good thing i suppose. Forget i ever posted this

Re: Brit Forum Summer

could be an area to discuss long term markets and early thoughts for next season. or you could make it a small section for that to free up space for the other, we still need an area to talk british football though in my opinion

'a lot to do about nothing' mind you

will put thinking cap on to see if there's anything that can be done

thinking about doing the predictions again for both the scottish premier and english premier - basically everybody posts up their ideas of the correct scores each week and once everybody has done so i publish the 'average' scores and ok it's harmless fun but for a couple of weeks last year it did throw up a few good correct scores.

i'll see if there's anyway of making it a bit smoother

Re: Brit Forum Summer

I agree with anothermug, a smaller section would be fine though.

Don't know if anyone can be bothered but its probably a good time to jot down a few notes on teams that ended the season well while its still fresh in the mind.

I was very impressed with Millwall when i saw them a few games from the end of the season and they finished strongly - will be interested to see their price.

I quite fancy Bristol City to survive after being promoted to the Championship.
Gary Johnson took Yeovil to 9th in division 2 after getting them promoted from the conference and although that is a bit ambitious, it does suggest he knows how to adapt after promotion.
Johnson has built a strong, fit team with a good mentality and with the inevitable addition of a few players, I'm more than confident they will survive and I'll be interested to see the spreads on their league points.

THM

I'm not sure I can really see the problem. Are we short of space or something? The summer is naturally quiet, it's a simple fact of the football season for most of Europe. What else is there that we need to make space for?

Re: Brit Forum Summer

Initially i just thought the idea RC as i realised that the 2 brit forum mods (i cant at the mo) were the owners of www.aussiesoccerstats.com and the irony of the aussie thread being in ww forum. Then i thought it might be an idea seeing as it is really always been viewed as a direct replacement by the pools companies and we could play on that. Then i got ideas above my station that the aussie thread could be bigger than just one thread

Then i think i realised it was all a shit idea as i started this but thought it would be no harm in leaving it. I'd like to spend this summer in here collecting links and stuff and working on www.britfootball.com (TDP passport to getting into football sites)

Right, how about we just turn the aussie thread upside down in a comical way?
