spot on with the price, now evens with Hills.

Brooker has had injury after injury and hasn't played for months jimmyt and is still a few weeks away from a comeback.

Provided he isn't rested it will be Trundle and Showumni/Jevons up front, and I suspect Gary Johnson might go for the latter.

Just seen a poll on the 'Griffin Park Grapevine' in which 75% of home fans think Brentford will go down to City tonight.

Oh, and Gary Johnson is well known for not naming his team until he has to, so its unlikely the starting 11 will be available before 7-7.15

Re: Carling Cup 13th - 15th August.

Well well, 7 changes from the team that started on Saturday but only 4 that didn't get some football on saturday.

Still should be too strong for Brentford and Trundle starts on the bench but will come on at some stage.

good luck all

Guys, thanks for the inside track tonight. Managed to pick up a wee treble on Coventry, Bristol City and Charlton. Woohoo!

Dependant on team news Hull look a good price at Crewe especially as Crewe have a few problems upfront (such as no goalscorers) !!
Also Wolves at home looks a banker once again awaiting team news as cant see Bradford being upto much.

Re: Carling Cup 13th - 15th August.

Gome for a cheeky double on Wolves and Hull

Hull had some poor performances by all accounts on saturday but with Maynard injured, Crewe might struggle for goals and Hull should come through
As for Wolves..... well, they just SHOULD win, right?

Millers looking to cash in on wobbling Wednesday

by Dan Childs
THE Carling Cup first round is not renowned for throwing up interesting fixtures, but tonight's Yorkshire derby at Milmoor has all the ingredients to be an exciting affair.

Cash-strapped Rotherham will be delighted to have attracted the attention of the Sky TV cameras, and they will be eager to further boost their coffers by advancing to the second round.

Drawing a Championship club has given them a tough assignment but they can take heart from Tuesday night's action which included several shock results.

Nine second-tier clubs travelled to lowlier outfits on Tuesday and four of them (Crystal Palace, Ipswich, Colchester and Stoke) suffered early exits.
Rotherham boss Mark Robins will also use the clash to bed down a team which has undergone major surgery during the summer.

Andy Warrington, Dale Tonge, Graham Coughlan, Andy Todd, Danny Harrison, Peter Holmes and Derek Holmes all made their debuts in Rotherham's 0-0 draw at Hereford last Saturday.

Robins will have been delighted with the clean sheet – the Millers recorded just six shut-outs in 50 matches last season.

However, he may be concerned at his team's failure to score against a Bulls side which is among the favourites to be relegated.

Robins should be given time to see if his new arrivals can herald a new dawn at a club which has experienced two relegations in three seasons.
However, there is less patience among Wednesday fans, who were expecting this to be the year when they launch a serious assault on the promotion places.

There was plenty of optimism around Hillsborough at the end of last season, but the anticipated summer takeover has not happened and manager Brian Laws is already coming under pressure to sell off some of his most prized assets.

Many Owls fans will be furious that a £3m bid was accepted from West Brom for left winger Chris Brunt – the Northern Ireland international signed a four-year deal with Albion yesterday.

Brunt was one of the players who blossomed under the Laws set-up, and his classy left foot will be sorely missed.

Disillusion at the Brunt sale has been exacerbated by Wednesday's dismal performance in their 4-1 opening day defeat at Ipswich.

The loss at Portman Road was littered with defensive errors and Laws will be hoping to witness a big improvement this evening.

Rotherham
Midfielder Tom Cahill (knee) is out.
Defender Graham Coughlan will be in contention to start having left
Hillsborough in the summer.

Sheff Wed
Deon Burton will be available to face his former side having resumed full training following a knee injury. Winger Chris Brunt has completed his move to West Brom.
