Dowie and his boys will get 3 points today home to Preston. Coventry looks better now than the last couple of seasons.

With players like Mifsud,McKenzie,Adebola and Hughes, they must be one of the contenders for promotion this season. Today de Zeeuw will make his debut too.

Preston seems to be in some sort of a crisis and the future doesnt seem bright. They got Gallagher on loan from Blackburn and maybe he can produce some goals on this level. Alexander leaving for Burnley, will be missed.

It' still early in the seaon remember , I didn't go max on this but I did have a largeish bet , 7.5/10 confidence I rekon.
As pointed out by polak Preston are still a decent side and with Simmo letting Alexander leave that tells me he could be the cause of unrest , not just him but it does suggest he has been causing trouble. he just completed 400 games for the team and fans are a bit stunned , but he is 35 and 200k is a good fee.
TBH it's a positive factor for Preston but we'll see .

Also on Coventry and was shocked big time by the price too..especially after another great win for Coventry and a terrible loss for Preston who aren't dealing with life without Nugent.

Also fancy Sheff Wed to get their first league win after a good win midweek and they were very unlucky to be beat last week going 2-0 up at the Valley vs Charlton.

Burnley seem to have a few injuries they could do without:

Colchester midfielder Kevin McLeod could return after a groin injury but Matthew Connolly, on loan from Arsenal, will be hoping to keep his place.

Dean Gerken and Clive Platt are suspended, while Kevin Lisbie and Teddy Sheringham will start up front.
Burnley's Michael Duff is a doubt after tweaking an abductor muscle while Beshart Berisha has a knee problem. Kyle Lafferty serves the second game of a three-match ban while Jay Rodriguez and Gabor Kiraly are out injured.

Bristol played well enough midweek cinny to give them a bit of respect and with Byfield coming , he averages about 1 in 2 at this level , I think they can beat Sheffield
