Swindon v Brentford
Swndon debuting 3 new players:
Town fans will get their first chance to see Paul Sturrock's deadline day triumvirate of Jon-Paul McGovern, Simon Cox and Billy Paynter but Shakes is hopeful he can steal the show.
Sturrocks resting his stars though:
"We want to win, we don't put teams out to lose. We will put a team out that will be competitive and that hopefully will win the game for us. But we are trying to bed down players to understand our system.
"The problem is there have been 11 or 12 players who understand the way I play and I want to widen that to the new boys who can competently understand what we are asking of them.
"I am very comfortable the players I put out Tuesday will try and win the football game though. It is a chance to learn what we are trying to achieve.
"Hopefully now Monday and Tuesday we can work on set-pieces and the players should respond. So instead of just 12 and 13 I am comfortable we should be getting to 17 and 18 players used to our way."
With a Wembley final awaiting the finalists of the JPT, fans will already be dreaming of visiting the home of football' but Sturrock admits there are other factors to consider.
He said: "If anyone was coming here they would have thought it will be a hard long season.
"We have tasted disappointment a couple of years ago but I would like to think people now appreciate we are competitive in this league.
"Wembley is a big incentive but I watched the League Cup tie where Kieron Dyer broke his leg and you have to weigh up those circumstances with that key player.
"We have one hole left in our team that I am not totally happy with. If one of those were to go down we would toil because it is three weeks before deadline."
Brentford rest most first teamers too so no bet for me here
