Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
cool, i'm getting 2.60(laddies go 2.87) for a straight cowdenbeath win, certainly though draw is a concern for me as well, which is why i'm contemplating to go with the +0.25 AH, but given your confidence komp, i'd rather wait for the level AH, stake refunded in event of draw, no complains from me either...

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
I will follow blindly that Cowden pick. Didnt consider it at all, but am happy you spoted it. I will not look at it I am simply already on.
Only what I was able to scrach was Ross at home. Can recall, you guys were talking about Ross strenght at home and this was debossed in my brain. Cant take it out anymore.
Few weeks ago I had laff at Bigkegman still backing St.Johnston away, but must admit that with every word I am reading about this game, Ia m more and more tempted to back them again. If it wouldnt be St.Johnstone, I would already be heavy on this one. Still considering and it will be very easy for any of you guys to put me on.
Not much confidence but good feeling in Ayr and Arbroath double. Just to ease the itch.
Will give Montrose last chance to regain my faith.
I was somewhere at wednesday on Elgin, then change it on my list to x2, then after short reading I realised that I am on Stenny and change it again in home win. And this morning sober when I looked at it I realised that I have turned 18o° in two days w/o much cause. Defenitly no bet, despite feeling that stenny will romp about Elgin.

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
To me Cowdenbeath have put in enough into their performanbces this season Johnny to justify some support at the price. Im reading that a couple of the players supposed to be out played 45 minutes midweek. Still even with a full team and Kettlewell playing i would still be on Cowdenbeath at the price. It feels good. I note that most of the fans on Pie and Bovril fancy the home win. That doesnt bother me as i fly in the face of adversity with my picks. Ive put my neck on the line and all i can hope is for Cowdenbeath to put in the performance that im expecting and for lady luck to be on my side.
I havent been overly impressed with Ross so far this season Johnny and i aint to sure if thats got anything to do with the sacking of Dick Campbell. Maybe they just didnt look like the chmpionship winning team the board had asked for. I suppose a team thats winning whilst playing bad is champion material. I just think Brechin on their day can get something and i think ross are far too short a price on this. Good luck on St j if you go for them johnny. I'll be shouting them on for the rest of the season and that eases the burden a bit on me and the dilema of backing them away from home every 2nd week. I'll take them winning every week and i'll start backing them if i see more signs of their away form improving. Livi gave St J their hardest games of the season last season. Its gonna be tough but good luck.

I like look of Ayr more and more. Wetsail is needed here. Ayr was heavy hit with injuries in last weeks and now it looks brighter? Aint it so? Before that start to play decent football?

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
I think Ayr are in for a rough time at Airdrie Johnny. I could usually be interested in Ayr in a game like this but Airdrie to me have looked pretty solid in most games ive read abou tthem this season. Ayr are on a great run and stunned Raith a bit with their 3 goals the other week. I couldnt take Ayr that day even though i gave a big at the 7/2 price. I just think that Airdrie are gonna be more proficiant (thats not a word) Actually Johnny i have no idea about Airdrie v Ayr and im just typing for the sake of it. Dont let me put you off ayr i just dont like the sound of them this week. Maybe this game could be a wee slap on the nose from Airdrie to Ayr about who's gonna be winning the league this season. Might bring Ayr back down to earth. I still can't get excited about much at all bar Cowdenbeath. Maybe someone might post some other 8/10 bets + on the Bets Bet thread and we coould get a nice wee line together

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
I think Komp, that I am desperate to spot a bet this weekend. Germany card is shit, scotish even worse and in england is also not much I could get excited about. Everything is saying to me, go out and enjoy one of the last sunny days this year, but as I am addict to betting cant let it go.

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
Dumbarton? The long ball game was abandoned last week, mainly because skipper & centre half Craig was out injured (the man who plays looong diagonal balls to no-one in particular ). Instead DFC actually passed the ball through midfield & looked semi decent 4 a change on Mo's plastic pitch We should get one down at the Rock.....
Anyway, Craig has a fitness test today so tactics probably dictated by outcome of this..Whatever, DFC should still have too much for Forfar who by all accounts have been pish this year.
Crap odds for a DFC win..mebbe go for a ht/ft double?

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
Good to see you again steven. Been crying out for you this season. your teams a funny old team eh? Did iu read you'll be missing McPhee today? Does he look like he can do a job at this level? Do you see any hope in ever scoring a few goals in a game? Has Mcabe got you over a barrel and is raping you up the arse? I just can't figure your team out. Maybe the general averageness of your season so far is just to dull for my brain to understand.
It could be worse Johnny you could have no money to bet with like me :shoot

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
Word of warning on Ayr - we put a lot into the Challenge Cup game at Dunfermline in midweek, only to be undone by a late goal. Our performance last week against Peterhead was crap and the excuse given was tiredness (large number of games catching up with our small squad).
A draw today might not be the worst result.

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
Not a great card but i do agree 9/4 for Cowdenbeath decent price . I would be scared to back Montrose after last week . Elgin have got a chance of beating Stenny, others worth considering Airdrie need odds against , St Johnstone seem to be finding a bit of form, not much else.

Re: Scottish Lower Leagues 6th Oct
East Fife should win this weekend parksy.
Still hope and expect them to start bottling it soon though for the league. Only a few points ahead as we speak, so lumping on at less than evens is a bit premature for me. Saying that, there isn't a team at tasty odds i'd take over them at the minute... It'll be between the top 4 just now anyway, Fife Arbroath Stranraer and Montrose. I expect Fife to be reeled in soon, and not to have romped it with months to spare.
