Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
baggies 8-5 laddies away at southampton, should be loads of goals with the majority going into the saints net! pressure building on george burley who has had to sell all his best players, saints good going forward but defensively poor.
west brom on their day wll beat most sides in this division, against a saints side that will let them play football i think they have a great chance

ipswich a decent home side should have too much for a preston side who are
admittedly improving but 10-11 looks a fair shout imo

Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
Looks ok but that midweek thrashing has me a bit wary Broms.
I'm with you on WBA as long as they dont sack Burley this week, although I was suprised they didn't beat Stoke, maybe Stoke are better than we think, they keep it really tight as Puliss teams tend to.
Colchester concede too many goals at home ,2 per game, but have that down a little on the road , 5 in 4. I think this is their hardest game so far . Stoke have drawn a few but have played Charlton , WBA and Wolves thus far , they have only 1 defeat so it's a crackin start.
I fancy them to repeat last season 3-1 mauling

Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
Am on the overs in the Bristol City sheff Utd game.
City - 3 of last 4 homes overs
Utd - 3 of last 4 aways overs
However, stats are all good bt it is the relative fortunes of the teams which make me think this might be overs.
City will be looking to bounce back from the midweek defeat at Barnsley while Utd will be desperate to build on their win.
might go a bit on over 2.5 and a bit on 2 or 3 goals.
Overs 1.92 with betfair at the mo.

I agree and I fancy them as well, still dont understand so much hype about Colchester, which has been conceding very much this season. Stoke's performance against WBA convinced me to jump on them...

Oh, I am not so sure again for see crystal palace and ffice:smarttags" />Sheffield Wednesday home win.
Players of hull are thinking that they are playing well at the moment and so confident
That they can beat crystal palace . they lost to chalton 2-1 at home in last game because of red card and can strongly bounce back in palace game they think. Motivation too high,
I am afraid to against.
ffice ffice" />
Sheffield Wednesday- pile of injured players. Say without eight first team players they will face to Leicester….may be serious.
Leicester team captain Stephen Clemence( calf)..forward Hammond (ankle)..
Mid field –james wesolowski and Julio macro Ferreira( hamstring).
Wednesday had a good record with Leicester in 2006, 3 games all won by Wednesday.

Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
Thanks for the info hielo and err hello and welcome to the Daily Punt.
Deffo one to keep an eye on but Wednesday as we know have staged a mini revival and from what I gather their fans have been expecting it.
Having said that 8 players represents a crisis and worth a punt.
Backing away teams in this division has cost me dear nga, you have a hunch there and I agree that Hull can easily win this but I wont be on

Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
Before you all go mad on Leicester against Wednesday, the pigs - sorry the Owls were 6 regular players down against Watford and were apparently the better team for a lot of the match (albeit comments by their manager Laws - although to be fair the guy will say they were shite when they were shite..).
I don't think they will lose on Saturday..

England Championship
Soccer - Bristol City/Sheffield United - total Over 2½ (-119)
for the regulation time held on Oct 6 at 11:20am [pending]
Sheff have three of four overs away so far, with six straight overs overall. Bristol haven't scored in their last two (both away); at home they've gone over in three of four.

You are certainly guaranteed goals with the Blades and their shambolic defence. However for some bizarre reason I fancy them to get their first away win today...

Re: Coca Cola Championship 6th/8th October
trickrick,
I sincerely hope nobody - and I mean, NOBODY - is going mad on Leicester against anyone. I would never bet on or against my team, but really, we're a mess at the moment, we've had four managers in a short period of time, and our new (not hugely popular) manager is stuck with a squad of players mostly bought in over the summer, a load of whom he probably doesn't want. Add to that lot a meddling owner and it's ... well, a mess. There is some class in the team, but it's not shining through at the mo'.
