Re: English Non League: 8-10th Oct

I'll just add the Blue Square Premier in here too if that's ok.

9 October 2007
19:45 Aldershot (8/11) Draw (12/5) Gravesend & N (4)
19:45 Altrincham (3) Draw (12/5) Burton Albion (1)
19:45 Cambridge Utd (5/6) Draw (12/5) Rushden (10/3)
19:45 Crawley Town (11/10) Draw (12/5) Histon (11/4)
19:45 Droylsden (8/5) Farsley Celtic (15/8) Draw (12/5)
19:45 Exeter City (11/13) Draw (12/5) Salisbury (10/3)
19:45 Forest Green (4/9) Draw (10/3) Northwich (13/2)
19:45 Grays Athletic (5/4) Draw (12/5) Weymouth (5/2)
19:45 Kidderminster (1) Draw (12/5) Halifax Town (3)
19:45 Stevenage v Woking - No Prices Yet
19:45 York (5/6) Draw (5/2) Stafford Rangers (7/2)
11 October 2007
19:45 Oxford Utd (7/4) Draw (9/4) Torquay (6/4)

Just the one for me, i've split small stakes on Ebbsfleet @ 4/1 and DNB @ 12/5. Aldershot are going well and are third in the league and a point behind the leaders but they lost away at Stevenage at the weekend and i'm hoping they hit a mini blip for a game or two. Ebbsfleet have been picking up some reasonable results of late incliuding a decent 2-1 home win over leaders Torquay latest, previous to that they were unbeaten in 5.

A longshot but not much else appeals to me at the odds right now so i'll risk small stakes on a chancer.

(038) Ebbsfleet 2.00 @ 4/1 Betfred + 2.00 DNB @ 12/5 Blue Square

stevenage are 1/2 in the local and with them finding form again the past few games i think they will win comfortably.

Your wqelcome Arfa. It looks to me that Pinnacle do do these games but their blanked out. Im pretty sure Pinnacle open the books quite late on these events as they used to with the Aussie soccer. Their top-rated at bookmaker review. I just can't get my head around US odds. I'll go add the Ryman South 1 to the top. I'll be picking your brains for some links in a few weeks i think Arfa

Re: English Non League: 8-11th Oct

anything above evens burton at alty and i could be interested
forest green look bankers,maybe ht/ft
histon 11-4 look a big price dont they?

chelmsford 8-11 at leyton, harlow 10-11 v wealdstone, margate 6-4 at carlshalton in the ryman look promising.

bashley, chippenham, hemel, brackley in the southern look good.

clevedon v bromsgrove, bromsgrove not playing at all well at the moment, a fair few injuries as well but a no bet game as they are so unpredictable!

tiverton looked a decidedly average team on saturday so a useful chippenham look good at 8-11, a long miidweek trip for the devon sde as well, going to look into this one a bit more before deciding whether to pile in

Re: English Non League: 8-11th Oct

anyone on Aston tonight?
They have lost against bottom Worksop but didn't played so badly.
According to Whitby web side they will miss some players

Player-manager Lee Nogan will again be without Ant Ormerod, who misses at least five more weeks of football with a calf injury, and likely skipper Matty Appleby who is awaiting the start of a three-match suspension for his sending-off at Bradford where Town tumbled out of the FA Cup. Right-back Andy Burton was stretchered off suffering a twisted knee during the Kendal game and must be highly doubtful- fellow defender Alex Janes may also not make it after missing the last two outings with an ankle problem.

Re: English Non League: 8-11th Oct

England Conference
Soccer - Kidderminister/Halifax - total Over 2½ (-133)
for the regulation time held on Oct 9 at 1:45pm [pending]

England Conference
Soccer - Forest Green/Northwich Victoria - total Over 3 (-108)
for the regulation time held on Oct 9 at 1:45pm [pending]

Not crazy about the relatively juicy line or Kidderminster's recent goal drought, but at home they have played to 72 percent overs. Halifax is the banker here: 72 percent overs on the road, and they're consistent about giving goals away...last four away have ended 2-2, 2-3, 1-3 and 3-2.

Forest have an astonishing goal differential of 17-14 in 7 home games; Northwich 4-18 in seven away games, so hopefully Forest can get sloppy and this one will end 3-1.

Clevedon produced an excellent performance on saturday and look to have been fairing pretty well in the last few weeks. I think could be a decent shout at over evens. Rovers unpredictability is a concern though. Can you let me know whether these injured Bromsgrove players are considered key players, whether the replacements are any good and whether they've been out for a while or not?

kevin banner our creative, goal scoring left winger made his comeback on saturday after a 6 week abscence, scored an 87th minute penalty to earn us a point but is nowhere near match fit yet so wont be too much of an influence yet, carl healy captain, experienced centre half out for 2 months although his replacement snapper is playing out of his skin at the mo.not sure whether the 1st choice goalie will be back tonight, left back les hines out for a few more weeks yet as is centre forward gary hay.top scorer jermaine clarke limped off saturday as well, dont know if he will be missing tonight.
to be honest most of the injured players have been missing for a few weeks now so not too sure how it will affect tonights game, i will make a call to a mate who goes on the team coach about 6 oclock and post up any further info.
i agree that clevedon look favourites but i have been stung too many times betting on the greens to either win or lose! good luck if you go for it,i will be back about 615pm wth any relevant team news

Re: English Non League: 8-11th Oct

My two picks from this league are:

Droylsden vs Farlsley Celtic: Homewin. Droylsden beat Oxford 3-1 this weekend and could very well take another scalp tonight. Farsley usually loose on tour. 1-0-6 and gd 6-18. I belive that the hometeam will build on the very important victory against Oxford.

Betsafe offers me 2.35 on Droylsden and I say thank you!

Pick no.2 is Forest Green home to Northwitch Victoria. The hometeam looks better than in a long, long time. Quite the opposite can be said about Northwitch. Only two points after 14 games is bad! Gd 11-34. They have lost all of their 7 awaygames so far. Forest Green statistics at their own ground is 4-1-2. Gd 17-14.

Betsafe offers 1.75 on Forest Green with a -1 handicap. I predict a 3-0 victory for the hometeam tonight.

Agree anyone?
