Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

I was fearing coming to this thread as i know its gonna be another week of 'no's' and improbables. Lets have a look down though and see if anything floats the boat-

right from the bottom then...

Albion before last saturday could have been ok but you would still expect them to bounce back. east stirling were exected to improve if they had the midfield back from earlier this season, they had and they laid out a pasting. albion's previous form shouldnt got unoticed and reports from last weekends cup game will be interesting. Elgin have all the break in the world and on their day they can give anyone a game. I just wouldnt like to bank on it. Cant see me getting involved unless i read more.

Arbroath v forfar is probably tighter than the ods suggest although i havent read much on Stenhoumuir's demolishing of Forfar. Edin was looking at Stenny giving forfar a doing at he weekend and i would be interetsetd in seeing if he still fancies them to get beat this week. Edin will tell you i dont rate his team this season on performances alone and there is not a chance in hell i would be interested in the home this week. seen stein came on ht for you last week Edin mind.

I was on Montrose at 5/2 to beat East Fife in the reverse fixture and they duely obliged. Would i take on East fife at home though? No. would i back East fife to beat Montrose this week? No. Im on Montrose for the league and even though East fife are looking a differant class to those around them i will probably not get involved in this and ope for a montrose win anyhow.

Not much between Stenhousemuir and dumbarton. suprised i never read anything about Dumbarton's new manager John Brown from Rangers before last week's cup game v Berwick when folks where on Berwick and if i did im sorry i missed it. I aint gonna back any of these two for a while.

stranraer v East Stirling is an interesting one. Im pretty sure Stranraer had the best of the last encounter win or not. I wouldnt back stranraer at home to anyone and east stirling could be as good as theyve been

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

Roll this week's banality.

always cheers me up when i go to oddschecker these days. Letitia Dean isnt it? I kind of grew up with her. I ever met her i just mean we're ages with each other and ive, sorry for being rude here but who hasnt imagined giving her a diddy ride?

Ayr cowdenbeath has all the making of a classic to me. Just a shame its gonna e hard to pick a winner. cowdenbeath will enjoy a trip to somerset Pk i reckon. Bad time for Ayr to get them. Ayr though to me can be great or shite. I havent checked their home form but i would be happier being on Ayr away as at home. I havent even looked at the odds on this. I presume Cowdenebath wont be favs but i suppose they should be slight favourites. Not a game for me but maybe Wet sail or folks could make me think on this one more.

Edit: just looked at the odds. Cowdenbeath 21/10 with bet365. Thats just silly. I would make them ...13/8 realisticly possibly less. Ayr will have to start improving and i will need to have a good look at their results of late but to me ayr at home are vurnerable to a team like Cowdenbeath. Well at 21/10 they are.

Brechin are starting to become a bit pricey to me this season. I think the report on the last time these two met could tell me more. Usually imall Brechin and anti Berwick but this week ive just got a funny wee thing about it going the other way. I want to back Brechin but as i ssay i just think Berwick could well turn their form about. Why? i hae no idea. Were they bad at Hamilton on saturday? I really should be all over Brechin. Looked better in the second half v east Fife but still too many draws and that aint all that encouraging. I think theyve only won 2 games all season. Costly

peterhead v Airdrie looks a tough game. 1-1 draw over the back. that or a 5-1 win either way Interesting game but not one for me.

Ive not been a fan of alloa this season but the 7/5 in Paddy Power might need some further inspection from me. Can see them getting another 2-1 win or similar up there. Raith at 2/1 i will also have to look at. I still havent read of Ross county deserving to win a game all season but their position doesnt lie. Raith need to win this one and i would gladly back them away at most teams but nver at home. Hard game and Petrie is on fire and scoring for fun. Ross as mentioned just seem to get results. We could just be paying for a run for our mnoney. Raith 1 up ht missed penaly, Ross get 2 in the last 10 minutes and everyone is caling Ross lucky bstards and wait till next time etc and we're all left out of pocket.. you know the score. My names Danny Dyer and i played kompressaur in the football forum

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

komp i cant believe you think arbroath are going to find it hard this sat at home to a dire forfar team.....read the report from last saturdays game between stenhousemuir and forfar and you might change your mind....forfar are the new east stirling team from the past couple of years.....they are the new whipping boys....they played that bad last sat they made a poor team like stenny look like world beaters....only stenny took the foot of the gas it could have ended up a cricket score......arbroath will beat this poor lot with ease....if they dont ill be greatly surprised....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

and what a price as well....i couldnt believe it last night when the prices came out....4-7 AND 11-8 HALF TIME FULL TIME.....unreal.....i was thinking of around 1-3 at best.......ok arbroath have been drawing a lot of their games but this is forfar we are talking about here.....i think arbroath will put this team to the sword this sat...no doubt at all.....the 4-7 wont last long.....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

it would be interesting to hear edins thoughts on this game......for me arbroath are still the 2nd best team in this division.....and forfar are the worst team by a long way....bar a miracle arbroath will win this game very easy.....i was looking at arbroaths fixtures coming up and i feel they are worth following the next 4games.....fell they can win the lot....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

going by arbroaths report last sat against a decent cowdenbeath team they played decent football.....and that was with ten men.....if tosh hadnt a been sent off they could have beat cowdenbeath....forfar no-way near the same standard as cowdenbeath.....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

the only other team i fancy this sat is east fife AGAIN.....i cant see past them....think they will beat montrose at fortress new bayview.....not going to be easy but 4-6 is a fair price.....not many teams will come away with anything this season there i think.....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

plus the champs elect will be pumped up for this game after loosing to montrose earlier in the season on their plastic pitch.....east fife will want to put the record straight.....and they have the fire power to score the goals....yea im going for another east fife win.....confident....but im more confident of arbroath....i think this will be easy pickings this saturday.....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

there is no other teams im looking at.....all other matches very tricky.....i wouldnt like to call them.....could be a lot of draws this weekend i think.....if anybody out there is into doing massive big single bets....now im talking about massive sums of money you could do worse than back arbroath just to win at that silly price 4-7......its a licence to print money.....my nerves wouldnt cope with it haha.....thats why i look for higher prices h-tf-t and minus goals....it works very well for me so ill not be changing....my minus 3 bets this season ive a 100 per cent record in.....think ive tried it 3 times already this season and it has worked for me each time.....

Re: 1/2nd Dec - Scottish 1,2,3

but minus goals is a big gamble no matter who your team is playing.....all it takes is an off day in front of goal or a bad decision by the ref or a sending off and your beat....thats the gamble....it takes that wee bit of luck as well......there are no certs in football....but arbroath are as close as you will get to a cert this saturday.....ill be on later in the week....and komp read forfars latest reports and decide for yourself mate.....tell you- you wont get better at the prices.....
