well parksy! i've taken your advice on east fife and montrose and i have to agree that on current form they look better than certain to win! it'll take an absolute miracle for these two teams to face an upset this weekend! if i had the guts i'd absolutely heap big money on them! haven't quite finished placing all my bets just yet but i will be placing money on the AH for both east fife and montrose and also quite possibly airdrie

elsewhere i guess only hamilton interest me, after dropping pts in their last outing they're hosting a not-too-bad st johnstone(based on standings), smells of a home win...

raith as well, similarly priced as hamilton, and strange enough they have better away record than at home like ross county does...not too certain myself, i had them when they won at ross two weeks back, and last week they made me surrender the cash back to the bookies
are you starting to read my mind vacheronlim? i warned you last week about raith mate.....very dangerous when they are hot favourites at home.....they have let me down many times in the past couple of years when they have been red hot favourites at home......they are not to be trusted......

i would leave airdrie alone on the asian handicaps mate.....no easy game......stick with east fife on the asian handicaps mate.....i think that minus 3 bet is def worth a punt.....i cant see east fife not winning by 3 clear goals.....if that ends up the case you get your stake refunded again....but that minus 1.5 looks nailed on....and the minus 2.5 looks to have a great chance.....as for montrose the minus 1.5 looks to have a chance....but i wouldnt chance anything more......

well maybe your right! wise words, think its the odds that attract me to airdrie more than anything! after your success last weekend i'm sure that you know your stuff! your right about east fife, if they dont win by at least 3 clear goals i'd be very surprised, i could see this one ending up 4 or 5 nil

Re: Scottish 1-2-3: 15th Dec

guys i think youre all mad bar komp, picking ht/ft in 4 games Goose? seen as you know what the weathers going to be like this weekend, drop me a pm. nevermind the late team news and the fans views on pie and bovril!

no this has to be a conservative week, east fife will not win by 3 goals against a forfar team who scored 4 away from home not too long ago and have scored some cracking individual goals. montrose arent to be trusted, they can switch off anytime, as they did at home to stenny. i may well bet on one or both of them but its impossible to say on a thursday night. east fife have just gone through some important fixtures and come out on top, the time will come for them to fail, probably not this weekend but it will happen at home in the next couple of months.

what puts me off livi komp is this match report from the queens game

"Clyde produced a remarkable rearguard action to hold out for a goalless draw at Broadwood Stadium.

The home side twice cleared off the line in the first half, while Sean O'Connor saw his shot hit the crossbar.

Clyde's Dougie Imrie forced keeper Jamie MacDonald into a full-length save to turn the ball round the post.

Defender Danny Kirkup then made a third goal-line stop to deny Neil Scally, but Clyde went close when Sean McKenna's header crashed back off the crossbar."

weather forcast for saturday for east fife game....perfect day for a football match.....light winds.....cloudy......should be perfect.......team news east fife should again have a full squad to choose from apart from the suspended tweed........it wouldnt really matter anyway as they have the players to bring in........thats why they are going to win that leauge with ease......and if want to know what the dumbarton fans and east fife fans are saying....well they are going for a landslide win for east fife......onto montrose.....again weather perfect for a football match.....light winds sunny spells.....team news....montrose should also have a full squad to choose from.....forfar have 2 key defenders out......and going by the talk montrose should win that game.....many more people must think this way as all the good prices that i got are all gone now.....bet 365 have cut every price on them 2 teams apart from the asian handicap odds.....they will be gone tomorrow im sure.....so there you go.....glad to be of help.......

Re: Scottish 1-2-3: 15th Dec

"thats why they are going to win that leauge with ease......"

i dont dispute that whatsoever.. but theyre no gretna. if the weather turns, if its too cold (im serious) then they wont win by 3 goals (even if its not against forfar!). 1-0 2-0 would be the likely outcome but they wont run away with it. as i said im likely to be on them aswell.

montrose have won 3 of their last 8 games (against pollock, stenny and albion rovers), yes they had 3 difficult games in the run up to the win over stenhousemuir but the pressure is definitely on them at the moment and they arent hammering teams like they did in september/october. forfar have played 1 home game in the last 6 and done pish in all of them bar the albion rovers and elgin games, as above i may well end up on montrose anyway! im not getting excited about anything yet, again if the weather turns it will not be an easy home win and certainly handicaps and double results should be avoided until saturday morning at the earliest.

i can see both fife and montrose being patient this weekend, cant see them being gun-ho or humping anybody, if montrose want to prove their promotion credentials then this is a must win game. will it be 4-0 or 2-1 though? im going to stick to 89 minutes this weekend if anything

Re: Scottish 1-2-3: 15th Dec

good to see you Parksy and good to see your still in winning form. Bloody hell you must have won every week this season. aye its good to be back Parksy. Im just gonna concentrate on this thread and not the whole forum as a whole. thats too much work for any man especially one that only bets on scottish football.

at Spacecat. Lets hope its Profited and not propheted whatever that might mean. Right im just gonna carry on lookin g at the p&b reports form last time out for now abnd take things as they come. Pleased to meet you Goose and welcome to TDP.

Peterhead 1-0 Queens Pk
The Pie Shop > 10 Man Peterhead 1 - 0 Qp Parasites

well that told us fcuk all. I'lllook more at the club sites as thyre pretty good with the reports at QP.

Alloa 3-2 Cowdenbeath
The Pie Shop > Alloa 3 - 2 Cowden

not the game of two halves that i thought poss. 2 teams slightly understregthed. Looks as tough on saturday as it did that day. Will Cowdenbeath's tight pitch suit Alloa's wide players? This game is toooo hard to call with 2 of the divisions in-form teams. I would veer towards Cowdenbath but heh alloa have suprised me probably every game this season. Nah i'll leave this one entirely i think.

Airdrie 2-1 Brechin
The Pie Shop > Airdrie 2-1 Brechin

another hard game with 2 teams supposedly coming onto a game. Barr the first game of the season for Brechin you can say that they have always compteted but just lacked Russell's goals or devensive errors have cost them. All tight enough games and i would expect more of the same on Saturday. To me this has draw written all over it but it wouldnt suprise e to see a narrow win either way. The h2h's last few years between the 2 give Airdrie a better look about them but not many teams have went or will go to Glebe errr Pk and take 3 points this season so to me the draw would be the call if i was having to bet. In reality though it's just another No Bet to me.

Raith 2-3 Ayr
The Pie Shop > Raith Rovers V. Ayr United

this is an interesting game to me and one ive always kept an eye on. Last few seasons it's always been either the team that played best that lost or the odds on fav that lost. let me look at that incase im kidding myself..ok thats all nonsense really. I still havent looked at odds ice my first glmps and i will have to. Ayr's defensive woes of late has suprised me. I always like Raith on the road but going down to the sea-shore hasnt been happy hunting ground for Raith. aye this one can go anyway i think and i dont think i'm gonna get too involved if at all. Be interested in a bit of team news and some news on how the two camps are feeling.

bollocks betbase has went donw for me. It always goes down (blank page) just a shame i only like looking at it over other sites. I'll look at Berwick at Ross in a bit. Haven't Berwick been up to Ross this season in a cup? I notice them at 9.50 errr 17/2? Ross possibly though could give them a doing just to show that theyve got title aspirations. Im sure Ross's strikeforce could have a field day if Berwick aint playing out their skins. Aye i dont know about that one either. Could be all 3 outcome to me and nothing appeals at any price.

lol probably i got influenced by you after following you since the start of this season...but yeap i agree on raith, probably will only get on them when they're not so obvious favourites...

will be going on the AH montrose -1 and east fife -1.5 myself, tha's about all, maybe a small wager on airdrie on the AH as well, but not decided yet...brechin looks like those undead at home, winning once and losing once, the rest being draws! gotta agree that airdrie is in pretty good form lately, i'll be happy as long as montrose and east fife come in nicely i guess...
