Re: English Prem and Carling Cup Final 23/24/25th Feb

Well the way City played Goose they wouldent have scored if they played until tomorrow, I'm quite disappointed tell the truth as i expected a bit more bite from them after the derby instead of reverting back to their old ways of knocking the ball about the middle of the field and gaining no inroads into the oppositions box.
Its one thing buying a decent striker like Benjani but with that type of support he'll go the same way of every striker we've had in the last couple of yrs.

Hats off to Everton mind as for all the possession City had that was one of the best defensive displays i've seen all season and i like the way the midfielders all chip in when needed defensively in an organised way and not treading over each others feet, they never gave City a sniff of a chance for 95% of the match.

Best side won on the day as for all of City possesion they never really threatened and you could see Everton had the ability to go up another gear when needed but once they bagged two they never had to.

If Evertons defence stays like that for the rest of the season as it has done since Christmas then I cannnot see anybody opposing them for that 4th spot.
