5th March Liverpool v West Ham

Barclays Premier League
05 Mar 20:00 Liverpool v West Ham 1.44 3.75 7.50

Odds Bet365

Well Liverpool have the personnel to do a job here but will Rafa pick it? as a lot of worse teams than West Ham have got a result at anfield this season and the hammers have allready nailed them once this season so to speak.

Personally I have a feeling he'll be putting out strong squad for this game as next weekends fixture against Newcastle will be a far easier match to rest players if need be for the followings weeks clash with Inter in the Champs league.

Aye Liverpool win for me as they did look quite impresive today against Bolton after a shakey start for the first half hr or so.

I missed this one down here. Everyone that likes EPL football hates me. It's a clash of personailities you see. I hate everything popular and shit on it and everyone likes everything popular as thats why its popular. I could use the old Human League or Ultravox before Midge Ure analogy but i wont. Looks a tough game to me. And a shit one. See i can't help it. It's like tourrets.

I think Liverpool will get the job done here and stretch 4 wins in a row, its important for them to keep the momentum going for the trip to Milan next week in my opinion. Couple that with the fact West ham were thrashed 4-0 at home at the weekend and the fact West Ham beat them 1-0 in the reverse fixture Liverpool will be out for revenge and should muster all 3 points.

Can't see past the home win here. As ever though with Liverpool, a lot depends on what side Benitez decides to send out.

Benitez cut to stay at Anfield after latest bid
by Mark Langdon
.
DUBAI International Capital's reported £400m bid for Liverpool yesterday was seen as good news for Reds boss Rafael Benitez, who was cut with bookmakers to remain with the Anfield club at the start of next season.

Benitez is now 5-6 to stay at Liverpoolhaving been just 1-2 with Bet365 to exit the club following last month's disastrous 2-1 FA Cup defeat at home to Barnsley, while Skybet were 4-7 about a new manager arriving before news of DIC's interest was confirmed.

However, Liverpool co-owner TomHicks apparently remains unwilling to sell his stake and could launch a bid to buy out George Gillett's 50 per cent share, so there may be many more twists and turns in Benitez's future.

On the field, Liverpool host West Ham in the Premier League tonight and Skybet rate the Merseysiders 10-1 shots to go through their remaining 11 Premier League matches unbeaten.

Pepe Reina has played every second of Liverpool's league campaign and Skybet rate him 6-4 to continue that run until the end of the season, which could be a fair price if he stays free of injury.

Stan James go 28-1 about the Reds' rivals Everton finishing in fourth spot and Liverpool lifting the Champions League, which would see Benitez's team claim the place in next season's competition.
Gretna have been told they must play their twice-postponed SPL game against Dundee United tomorrow at Fir Park after it was called off last night.

Nothing stands out in tonight's acition in England and Scotland.

R Benitez to start next season at Liverpool: 5-6 yes (Skybet), 11-10 no (Bet365); C Ronaldo's club on first day of next season: 2-9 Man Utd (Bet365), 11-2 Real Madrid (Bet365), 7 Barcelona (Ladbrokes).

Ladbrokes – to leave Arsenal first: 1-3 W Gallas, 11-5 T Walcott.

Skybet – to finish higher in Premier League: 2-5 Liverpool, 7-4 Everton; West Ham to finish in top ten: 4-7 yes, 5-4 no; to concede fewest goals this season: 1-2 Man Utd (15 so far), 7-4 Chelsea (17), 10 Liverpool (20).
