a Man Utd/Chelsea double will pay out roughly around the 5/6 mark which would have a great shout. Both sides should overcome much weaker opposition however it's the FA Cup and anything can happen.

Tend to agree Cinny. I think both Managers will look and think they've got decent shouts at progressing with the 1st bite of the cherry and I think they'll both win as well.

Re: 8/9th Mar: FA Cup

Aye i think you'd have to fancy all the Prem sides to get through to the Semi's, Cardiff may have proved a slip up if they were playing at home as they have a few ex Prem pro's this yr but you have to fancy Boro at the Riverside as its all they have left to play for.

Rovers v Baggies match could be a toughie to pick as West Brom won't mind taking them back to the Hawthorne's but with Premiership promotion being formost on their minds thye might just go all out for a result here which could throw this tie wide open, still i wouldent back against them as they always look likely to score with Miller, Bednar and Philips to pick from.

Re: 8/9th Mar: FA Cup

The more I think about it the more I'm wanting to pile into WBA. No doubt Bristol Rovers have done fantastic but I do think WBA will think to themselves we've got a right chance to qualify for the semi's and as you mention slick they probably would be happy to take them back but they scrapped a win on Tuesday night with Phillips coming of the bench to score the winner and I think that would have given them some more confidence.

According to the bbc Rovers are sweating on the fitness of Lines, Pipe and Walker as they've got a sickness bug. I don't know how important these players are to the club but if there is a sickness bug in the camp it adds another tick to the reasons why I fancy WBA.

load of bollocks mind you but i fancy WBA

Re: 8/9th Mar: FA Cup

I feel the Rovers V WBA game is going to be tight with few goals.

I'm having a few bets on the game, read more at my blog

THM’s Bristol Football Bets

Oh and bigkegman, the sickness bug isn't a real problem for Rovers, I think one or two are fine now anyway.

GL all

you've always got to take what the bbc publish anyway with a pinch of salt but thanks for letting me know THM

It's been a shocker of a weekend for me - I'll still be on WBA i think but interest stakes only

I think its been a shocker for most of us as far as the FA cup this season. I don't think I'll be putting another penny on it!
