'Giant Killers' to come back to earth?

After the weekend's shock results, West Brom aside, is anyone interested in opposing the winners this midweek? I don't have any stats (I'm sure someone will!) but I think I'd be right in saying that more often than not, teams who have beaten a big club in their previous match tend to suffer a come-down? A quick check shows that both Barnsley and Cardiff lost their matches immediately following their victories in the 5th round. Tottenham's loss at Birimingham could perhaps be seen in a similar way.

Barnsley face Ipswich who are available @ 3/1 (draw pays 11/5 and the home win 11/8)

Cardiff (11/8) host Hull (8/5) with the draw 11/5

Portsmouth (4/6) play at home to Birmingham (7/2) with 23/10 the draw.

It's a good theory nevertheless ally. We've seen how the Prem teams can suffer hangovers from big european ties, even when they win.

Might be difficult to raise their game in the league after the emotion they went through at the weekend.
