Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

Aye it looks great Parksy

as regular viewers will be aware i dont post on forums anymore. Well not till i have a full time job and ive got my life sorted out. Im moving to glasgow on the 30th April for a stage in my life that will involve headbutting bosses, shagging women, watching a Scottish div one, two or three game every saturday, living in the cinicinati card room till im banned and getting stabbed on a saturday night. Last court case out the way today and im as free as i will ever be. I might as well have a look at some odds while im here although i aint here to stay though. We'll meet again....

oooo its the hamilton v dundee game. I better go look at tables as i dont know how important this game is going to be. I was suprised to hear that hamilton had the best away record in the league as they must have one of the best at home too. As you and i know i dont thiunk theyve lost at home in over a year. I maybe wrong though as stats have been like baggage to me these days. Looks too tough to call to me and i cant be bothered opening up a browser window to look at tables.

Morton v Partick should be a good game. this one should be a random game to me. Im sure Partick were all over Morton last time they met and maybe have had the better of the exchanges this season but i cant get involved. Morton blow hot and cold and i dunno if Partick are to be trusted. Morton will be needing the points although im sure Partick wont be mathamatically safe.

Livi have done ok v St Johnstone last couple of seasons. Always a tough game an goals are the norm. 3-2 either way but with livi not being able to find the net last 6 games or so who knows. I can see them getting their scoring touch or maybe it could just be a frustrating for both fans a 0-0 draw. No bet for me.

Man i hate Scottish Div one i really do. always have. I wish it never existed. 2 big leagues would do me. I dont even want to talk about QOS v Dunfermline as its starting to depress me

Aye meet Ross County again i see. I havent read reports but that was some win for Ayr up there at Ross midweek wasnt it? 4-0 up ht weren't they? Im sure things wont be as the mideek game could be but without knowing much about that i wont comment. I couldn't see me getting involved in either team at the odds no matter what i read in that report i think. Maybe like my poker i just play it real tight these days. Fcuk im the Dan Harrington of the Scottish League Football Betting World

Cowdenbeath Berwick meet up again after their titanic 5-4 game midweek. Need to read a bit but ...hold on ive been waiting for Cowdenbeath to turn the corner and if team news is good then that 4/6 with Coral and Totesport aint all bad. i see 4/7 in places too. Wee tight pitch at Cowdenbetah and if the reports between the 2 favour Cowdenbeath then i could be interested in them. again though the report midweek would be pretty darn important.

Raith v Airdrie looks another tight one but the way Raith have been playing and their ineffectualness at home you could maybe...nah hold on these to also-rans are as poor as each other. Does the Ross result midweek give airdrie a glimmer of hope?

Alloa and Peterhead are both 2 teams to be 'feared' at the mo so them playing each other in which could be a...hold on their both vying for 4th place still arent they? Aye well maybe its an interesting one.

I'll do my 'queens park are quite a tidy wee team' speech and cloud my vision. They maybe tidy but they dont have the class of Brechin (man for man). Trouten is getting rave reviews but they aint in the ... same league as Brechin. Aye Brechin 4th place here we come. 4/6 with bet365 i could have an interest in (8/11 Extrabet)

Arbroath v Stenhousemuir. Down the years this game has filled me with pleasure and pain. Now here it lies, naked on my betting bed. Hello darling you are looking well why thank you komp smith now come and lie beside me....to which i go ahhhhhhh and fall into its tender arms. Abroath at even money at home fcuk Stenhousemuir 12/5 at bet365 back of the net! Yes this maybe love at first site and yes i have my doubts. You cannot change my dear and i am just a sucker for your love.

I presumed stranraer game was off midweek so thus allowing East fife to win the league themselves tomorrow. I maybe wrong but i think thats the scenario. Cast your mind back to this game early season and some of us were wondering if there was gonna be that much between the 2 for the season. Things have changed. How much do East Fife want it? Maybe they ould just win it at home next time? I dunno. Not a game to bet on imo.

Ah super Forfar v a hard to catch Stranraer. You could make cases for either. forfar will definatly be in better form but Stranraer potentially could be better than theyve shown of late. Fold.

im wondering how much there is to play for for these teams and as i dont look at league tables and newspapers are almost as rare as toilet roll in my house i dont really get to glance them (12 weeks ago ones in the loo only) Montrose i could like to do the job at cliftonhill . 6/5 is not bad. Albion have went through change an have 2 or 3 good players but if Baird and co want to finish the season with a bit of strength and get themselves together for the play-offs then this is the sort of game they have to win. I wouldnt back Montrose with any coincedence but i would happily take a chance at the odds (i think)

Elgin's season aint over and Dumbarton are playing for the new manager for next season. tough game. I'm wary of dumbarton's experience over elgin' youth. elgin do ok especially at home and have put in some good performances this season. they also have had some bad ones too and thats why i couldnt back them. Maybe dumbarton at the odds could almost be value but you wouldnt think it from looking at it.

anyhow im gonna go folks. I have to remove all the chains that bind me and get myself together. Im working on 'frontpage stuff' and that stops me looking at my footie coupon at the mo as ive turned that obsessive about websites and stuff. anyhow the more work i put in on it the now the better it will be for TDP in the future. so adios amigos. Don't forget to post when you can

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

When your in doubt about things in life you have to (we can remove the 'upload picture' option to only 'Full Reply' maybe) you have to use your experience and also all the tools you have to hand to read about your subject and gain more understandment to make better judgement on the decisions that come your way. Do i back Stenhousemuir this weeekend as i think that the 12/5 with bet365 is way out of line? Well i better read on. It is out of line as it stands with me.

Man ive had a lifetime of falling from a pillar to a post. Im sure it wasnt meant to be this way but i think i kinda of like it. If youve had the rug pulled out from under your feet reguarly you grow a resolve to it. that resolve protects you and makes you stronger. I do think the hard part is being able to stop the arse falling out of things and good on all you that do. I have spent too long being bitter towards you all. I saw you all as the meek but infact you were the strong. Society beats down on us all and we all as individuals have some kind of responsibilty towards that society as all that society is doing is trying to do it's best by us all. I need to 'come in' and thats something i will deal with after the Arbroath v Stenhousemuir game.

Man this cnut Coughlin doesnt fill me with much confidence
Win vital for Warriors - Falkirk Today

Sounds to me like a man who's already got his excuses made. Stenny have been ok though. Have they really though? I will try to answer that question to give myself some peace of mind.

I dont like Mcinally and this aint a good thing for east stirling imo
McInally unveiled as new Shire boss - Falkirk Today

New man at helm: Jim McInally

Quote:
Former Dundee United midfielder McInally will take training tonight (Thursday) when he will familarise himself with his new charges for the challenge ahead.

Forfar's surprise midweek win over Arbroath has left Shire three points adrift at the foot of the table and they may not be in the best shape to do anything about that on Saturday.

Injuries to top scorers Joe Savage and Andrew Brand made them doubts for the postponed game on Tuesday evening against Dumbarton and Gary Kelly, David King and Graham Smith have all been nursing knocks this week.

So club physio Iain MacIver may be the busiest man at Firs Park between now and Saturday trying to patch the team up for a big game, which East Fife will certainly be up for.

Shire ran the Fifers close the last time they met. It took a penalty kick in the third minute of injury time to secure a 1-0 victory – just the kind of luck you get when you are top of the league.
Dont know how much of that team news is heresay but i would be interested if Brand and Kelly wont be playing but they will

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

This kind of sums up arbroath v stenhousemuir to me in that there really isnt that much between them and the 12/5 in bet365 is definetly a value call
The Pie Shop > Arbroath - Stenny

...love may lay heavy between...what might might have been....

I wont go look at ...bah i suppose i should... arbroath at home but i think bar playing elgin all theyve had is a 1-0 home win v albion up untill their last home game (i dont know how that finished as i do have an aversion to looking at stats) Their home form is not good and there is no way they should be shades of odds on tomorrow. where did the bookies get the notion to make them so short i ask myself? Maye their results have picked up but their having a laugh imo and i dont even know how good stenhousemuir are gonna be. Arbroath odds v albion Rover, v East stilring aye i can understand but it looks to me that the bookies dont know fcuk all about this one and im sure Edin would tell you there has to be value in Stenhousemuir tomorrow.

edin is in the sudan though so i suppose this fixture wnt have the same meaning to him as it has had down the years. A bit like me but heh im prepared to be flippant here. I know im right in that Stenhousemuir are value alone.

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

bugger all that komp, gimmie a bet for the weekend with the last of my free bluesq 42 pound, my form has been poor of late, backing bloody livingston last week and another loser the week before. ive got 20 to spend and want a single, double or treble picked by the forum, any odds or combinations. who you after this week parksy?

as has been my scots 123 case for a while, i'll be adding nowt to this thread, i only ever seem to tip losers around here.

ive already doubled aberdeen ht/ft at home to gretna at a shocking 8/11 (the games IS going ahead, should be 1/3 ht/ft) and hibs 4/6 with £22 i stole from poor old blsq

You think 8/11 is shocking? You can only imagine how shocked I was when I seen Paddy Powers are going 5/6 for HT-FT. Looks a steal. Aberdeen(-1) is also 5/6. I've taken both.

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

Arbroath are completely untrustworthy again.

Was home for a week so made the Forfar game on Tuesday, and it was possibly one of the worst performances i've seen in my life! We were so bad, we actually made Forfar look almost decent!!!

But, by all reports, Arbroath were a completely different team on Saturday, destroying 2nd placed Stranraer 3-0 in their hometown, and playing some nice passing football.

This game is such a no-bet it's unbelievable. If Jeckyl Arbroath turn up, evens is massive for us at home, against a team we've had lots of success against. Hyde Arbroath on the other hand, and 12/5 is absolutely huge for Stenny who should put 5 past us.

Do not bet on this game with any confidence. Draw anyone?!

Available 10/11 at Betfred, Aberdeen -1

Still think 4/11 outright at VCbet is an absolute certainty, and have bet accordingly.

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

i agree cinny, cowdenbeath is a GO for me tomorrow, hopefully there will be plenty of goals in this one again as i could see us coming out easily on top.

i read the midweek result as cowdenbeath being by far the stronger team through scoring the early goals, when they needed to score to win the game, they just went up the park and did it.

Re: 15th March Scots 1-2-3

oi oi when was Aberdeen in the Scotish league?

Sorry im so avoidant i cant even go and look in another thread. Bluesq you say spacecat? If i can get my head together a bit i will have a look but i aint been a man in form. Just coming to the best part of the season for me too. I'll go browse team news and look at some prices but i really dont know anything thats happened all week and ive only done the basics the last few weeks so i aint 'with it'

Stenhousemuir still looks a 'have to bet a the price' bet to me. Aye i will be on them and go on the muir

John Gemmell out with suspension for albion. Im for montrose. that 6/5 looks ok. i better look at reprts betwee the 2 first though but Montrose like Stenhousemuir are on my 'to be backed' list.

Gilfillian being out for Cowdenbeath is a big minus to me but i would be interested to see if Dempster has been playing. Still a poss bet but Gilfillan has taken the shine off it a bit for me. aye he's been out with injury lately but i was anticipating a cowdenbeath revival coinciding with his return.

Brechin you have to bet really. Could and should be a 4/7 or 1/2 shot even imo.
