Re: 5-6th April Scots Premier League

forgive me for sounding numb but why can't i see a proper fixture list for this league, usually every team plays 38 games but after April 16th there seems to be no more fixtures, can anybody fill me in?

Re: 5-6th April Scots Premier League

Ok so i see the league splits half way through the season as i've read up on wikipedia but even so with the current fixture list it still means Celtic play two more games than Rangers, how can that be?

Just a quick couple to be going on with...

Inverness CT to beat Gretna, why not everyone does...

Hibs at home to a poor St. Mirren side..

Ciao......

Im liking the 4/9 on inverness if a poor st mirren side can thump then surely Inverness can too. -1 @ evens as well looks likely for a decent sized punt.

Slick, the split comes after 33 games but this season the situation has been complicated by postponed matches still to be played eg Celtic v Rangers from 2 January. In effect it means that although the scheduled date for the split is this weekend there are still a number of outstanding "pre split" matches to be played. Every team will still play 38 games.

At the moment Celtic have played 30 matches and Rangers 29, so if there is no disruption to the card this weekend Celtic will still have 2 "pre spilt" matches top play and Rangers 3.

The post split fixtures (5 games for every team top and bottom half) will be drawn up after this weekend's matches and published shortly afterwards.

I'm not surprised you are confused

You forgot about the Aberdeen vs Falkirk game on monday which may have a interest in betting depending on the Hearts result.

Cheers for that Para, ffs it was like reading the rules of American Football

I bet the bloke who Invented that is well chuffed with himself, would be great to get Rangers and Celtic in the Prem to stop all that shite but its just not gonna happen is it.

Re: 5-6th April Scots Premier League

the problems this years started when phil o'donnell died during the bust january period, meaning that the old firm and all motherwell games were called off (and ground sharers gretna) for a fortnight. with rangers and celtic both playing in europe and cup/rep-lays there hasnt been a great deal of time kicking around for them to get more matches in.

the fir park pitch is terrible anyway, its accounted for games been called off a couple of times itself. its a shame the way its turned out this year but i actually like the split

Re: 5-6th April Scots Premier League

Motherwell beat Celtic today as well so not really much to play for in the top 6 either

Massive game to see who gets in the top 6 live on monday night. Aberdeen must beat Falkirk to finish in the top 6 otherwise it will be the Bairns who finish there for the 1st time
