Re: Scot's 1-2-3 thread: 12th August

from that it makes me a little less confidennt on Dundee but i'll still have an interest in them ft and ht/ft. Bar Roy werent they all out last couple of games?

st johnstone are...nah im leaving them but but...they always win at Palmesrton dont they?
http://www.soccerbase.com/head2.sd?t...2&team1id=2090

nah not really. What was the best price on St J? I might be mad tro consider them tomorrow mighten i? 5/4+ i'll have

Peterhead i am backing and itsa all cause i think thedyre a better team than alloa even when their both at full strength and the alloa injuries only make me want to back them more. Backing Peterhead away last season causes a few scares and them needing a late 1-0 but im gonna put myself through it again.

Raith i still like and the same applies to morton as to the peterhead game for me. It wont be easy but it could happen. Ferry back for QP could make me go through hell with them too. Probably go 2 down at ht after missing some glorious chances, get 2 late ones and this miss a penalty in 90 minutes

Sellars is suspended and will be a big loss.
Bishop isn't suspended for the league game, he misses the next CIS cup game due to the nature of the red card (foul and abusive language).

Drew in the 1st league game, then humped stirling 3-0 midweek...

Playing East Stirling at home...

Dumbarton will win

Top half finish in the league

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 thread: 12th August

I was almost tempted into Dumbarton Van Basten but their performance last week at montrose didnt impress me as i had hoped (backed them at 9/5 too) and they left it late to beat an understrength stirling side midweek. They aint creating much and bagan in midfield seems to be the only player that can put them away at the mo (imo) Their traditionally good at The Rock (home ground) till last season anyhow and should have too much for East Stirling but the price is still too short for me. Its a new look East Stirling playing for their place in the Scottish league (if they finish bottom this year then the league will have to decide whether they can stay in it - 4 years running is the rule i think) They were 4 down at ht v cowdenbeath mind on tuesday. Aye your moneis safe but you never know.

Lets hope for a good day fellas and a good season for the scot's 1-2-3 thread. Ive nothing really standing out this week but im hoping for a bit of a rub of the green and 8/8 will do for me

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 thread: 12th August

Morton sending out a strong team. should be a cracker. QOS defence looks a bit shaky under pressure so far this season, willie gibson back for QOS in midfield. Kevin James and Sheridan are back for St J Scotland and Hardy upfront. Go on St J

No real injury worries for Ayr or Cowdenbeath. Ayr have the same starting 11 for the 3rd game in a row. Im sure they're missing Campbell from the defence though. Got to be goals with Vareille and Cowdenbeath on the same pitch.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 thread: 12th August

Ok day at the office was at the Albion East fife game, first thing of note pitch bumpy again, think Fife deserved their victory on a difficult pitch hard to get it and pass it, they look ok but difficult to asses as its hard to pass it on that pitch Impressed with Ritchie up front clever feet always looking to create also Smart up front worked hard and think would be more effective on a better surface , nos 4 looked solid as well think name is Smart as well. Albions best player Lennon again, every time ive seen them hes been their best , a bit bigger in defence this season, dont think they will be pushovers this season, bit lightweight up front but Savage returning may help.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 thread: 12th August

cheers Danq. Im suprised Albion have held onto Lennon.

Tomorrow im already waiting on Gretna and maybe chance some more on them at 5/6. I think they'll have something to prove after playing thursday in the cup at Motherwell's ground. Broadwood aint an easy place to go mind and Clyde can be a tough nut to crack at home. All in its all down to Gretna's attitude and i might just chance it.
