Bradford v Brighton
Bradford defender Ben Parker and striker Joe Brown will both miss out when Brighton visit Valley Parade.
Parker, on loan from Leeds, is struggling with a hamstring injury, while Brown will sit out the first of a three-game ban after his dismissal last week at Blackpool.
Striker Eddie Johnson, recovered from a bruised foot, will start alongside Dean Windass, with winger Jermaine Johnson on the wing, but David Graham has been receiving treatment for a back injury and might not make the squad.
Midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson sustained a calf strain at Blackpool, but returned to training this week and is expected to feature.
Goalkeeper Russell Howarth, number two to Donovan Ricketts, will not be available after slashing his hand with a stanley knife in a DIY accident at home this week. His place on the bench could go to 17-year-old Ben Saynor.
Brighton boss Dean Wilkins will still be without utility-man Gary Hart.
Long-serving Hart has been ruled out for a fortnight with a leg muscle injury, so Wilkins could stick with the side which hammered MK Dons 4-1 in midweek.
Loan signing Dean Bowditch will be pushing for a start, however, having made his debut as a second-half substitute against the Dons.
Georges Santos serves the final game of his three-match ban and Charlie Oatway (ankle), Richard Carpenter (groin) and Paul Reid (knee) are all out.
Carlisle v Rotherham
Carlisle striker Karl Hawley is expected to make his comeback against resurgent Rotherham at Brunton Park.
The 24-year-old, who has scored six goals already this season, has missed the last five games with a broken rib.
However, he has been back in training for a week and should start alongside Kevin Gall and Simon Hackney in a three-pronged attack.
Midfielder Paul Thirlwell is likely to miss out with a groin problem while Zigor Aranalde is doubtful with a dead-leg.
On-loan Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford plays the last game of his month-long stay and no decision has been taken on an extension.
Rotherham boss Alan Knill is missing suspended duo Martin Woods and Eugen Bopp.
Knill was this week named League One manager of the month after guiding the Millers to four straight league wins in October.
But Woods remains absent as he completes a three-match ban and fellow midfielder Bopp was sent off during last week's 5-1 hammering of Crewe and serves a one-match suspension.
However, Knill has no other injury or suspension concerns.
Justin Cochrane has shaken off a knock and Gregor Robertson has been passed fit after four games out with a knee injury.
Cheltenham v Oldham
Cheltenham captain John Finnigan is a major doubt and defender Shane Duff is battling to be fit for the home clash against in-form Oldham.
Finnigan suffered a heel injury in last week's defeat to Nottingham Forest while Duff was forced off against the league leaders with a groin strain. Both missed the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Barnet in a bid to be fit for the weekend.
``Shane stands a better chance of playing than John does,'' said Robins boss John Ward. ``John's heel is extremely sore. He's been playing through the pain for two or three weeks but it's starting to affect everything he tries to do.
``However, Shane has been able to train after his pull and we hope he might just be okay in time.''
Mickey Bell was also injured against Forest and could be out for up to six weeks after the sore calf that ruled him out against Barnet turned out to be an Achilles problem.
David Bird is expected to be in contention despite being forced off against the Bees with a tight hamstring, while Jerry Gill will replace Andy Gallinagh at right-back after the youngster made his Robins debut in midweek.
Chris Porter and Richie Wellens are expected to return to Oldham's starting line-up.
Leading scorer Porter and midfielder Wellens were both rested for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Chesterfield.
Fellow midfielder Gary McDonald and defender Simon Charlton are also expected to return after sitting out the 1-0 defeat.
New loan signing from Wigan Tomasz Cywka, a Poland Under-21 international, is hoping to retain his place after making his debut on Wednesday.
Long-term absentees Paul Edwards (knee) and Chris Swailes (ankle) are two and four weeks away respectively from a return to action, while Neil Eardley remains sidelined with knee ligament damage.

Long-term absentees Paul Edwards (knee) and Chris Swailes (ankle) are two and four weeks away respectively from a return to action, while Neil Eardley remains sidelined with knee ligament damage.
Crewe v Port Vale
Crewe boss Dario Gradi still has a number of injury concerns going into the derby with Port Vale.
Defenders Neil Cox (calf), Darren Moss (hernia) Julien Baudet and Billy Jones (both hamstring) are out but Jon Otsemobor (Achilles) could return and Andy Taylor (stitches in head wound) should feature.
In midfield, Isaac Osbourne is struggling with a groin problem and David Vaughan (hamstring) is a major doubt. Michael O'Connor (knee) is out, although Tony Grant (Achilles) and Lee Bell (foot) are both in contention.
Lee Matthews (knee) is at least a week away from returning and fellow striker Rodney Jack (illness) is a doubt.
Assistant boss Neil Baker said: ``There's obviously a lot more made of this game with Stoke not being in the same division and the management teams and a lot of the players get on well.
``We need a win in the league. It's so tight in the middle of the table that a couple of wins could push us right up and couple of defeats could drop us down. We could go either way.''
Port Vale boss Martin Foyle has a threadbare squad at his disposal for the local derby.
Jason Talbot joins Luke Prosser in being suspended after his dismissal in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Yeovil.
Nathan Lowndes (back) and Robin Hulbert (foot) are both definitely ruled out. Mark McGregor has trained but remains a doubt while Michael Husbands should feature.
Foyle admitted his side would be doing everything they can to get one over their local rivals. He told the club's official website: ``We are really looking forward to it. We know there's going to be a good crowd and definitely a good atmosphere.
``We will go there and give it our best shot and hopefully get something out of the game. They've got a big squad of players. They have eight injured but still have another 20 players to choose from.''
Doncaster v Leyton Orient
Doncaster defender Theo Streete is doubtful for the visit of Leyton Orient due to a groin injury.
The on-loan Derby teenager was forced out of the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Hartlepool with a groin injury.
Manager Sean O'Driscoll must also wait on the fitness of on-loan goalkeeper John Filan, scheduled to return to Wigan next week.
Filan is struggling with a dead-leg and has missed the last three matches. Ben Smith is on stand-by again and could make his fourth successive appearance.
O'Driscoll's squad could be boosted by the return of midfielder Sean McDaid, who bruised his foot in last week's defeat at Bristol City, and striker Bruce Dyer (groin). Both returned to full training this week.
Paul Heffernan will be hoping to make his first league start since October 6 after firing a double in the midweek win.
Derek Duncan could make his first league start of the season for Leyton Orient.
The young winger impressed and scored in the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Bristol City and has a good chance of keeping his place in boss Martin Ling's starting XI.
Ling will again be without influential midfielder Craig Easton, who sustained a foot injury in training earlier in the week.
But winger Shane Tudor could come into contention after shaking off an ankle injury as the bottom-of-the-table Os go in search of their first away win of the campaign.
Forward Efe Echanomi is still coming back from a broken ankle and is a long-term casualty along with defender Adam Tann, who is recovering from surgery after being diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Gillingham v Chesterfield
Gillingham boss Ronnie Jepson has just one injury concern for the visit of Chesterfield.
Long-term knee injury victim Brent Sancho could return to the squad if he passes a late fitness test after building up fitness in the reserves.
Centre-back Ben Chorley, on loan from MK Dons, could make his first start after coming off the bench in the 2-0 win over Carlisle.
Matt Jarvis and Kelvin Jack should keep their places after returning from knee injuries in that game.
The Gills have no suspension worries and will be looking to build on what was only their second win in six games.
Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland is likely to revert back to a more familiar starting line-up at Priestfield.
McFarland made six changes from the side that drew with Yeovil in beating Oldham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek, resting Reuben Hazell, Paul Hall, Mark Allott, Derek Niven, Kevan Hurst and Caleb Folan.
They should all return while Gaz Davies and Michael Standing, who made their first starts of the season at Boundary Park, look set for places on the bench.
Alex Bailey is making progress following his hamstring problem and could return to contention, as could captain and fellow defender Shane Nicholson (knee).
Paul Shaw is unlikely to be able to face his old club as he continues to recover from knee ligament damage. Phil Picken (knee) remains sidelined
Huddersfield v Scunthorpe
Gary Taylor-Fletcher could make a shock return to Huddersfield's squad for the visit of Scunthorpe.
The 25-year-old was expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks when he sustained medial ligament damage last month, but came through unscathed and scored in a midweek friendly win over Bradford Park Avenue.
Versatile Andy Holdsworth, who has missed Town's last three matches due to an ankle injury, also proved his fitness in midweek.
Defender Nathan Clarke is hoping for a recall to the starting line-up, but full-back Danny Adams will sit out the first game of a four-match ban following his second dismissal of the season against Brighton.
David Mirfin is not quite ready to return after missing the last six games due to a hamstring injury, while Tom Clarke (knee ligaments) is out for the rest of the season.
Billy Sharp and strike partner Andy Keogh are expected to return to Scunthorpe's starting line-up.
Manager Brian Laws will revert back to the side that beat Leyton Orient last week following their Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty shootout defeat to Port Vale.
Midfielders Matt Sparrow and Ian Baraclough and wingers Ian Morris and Cleveland Taylor are also expected to return.
Centre-half Steve foster returned from suspension in midweek and will be hoping to retain his place.
Manager Brian Laws has the option of retaining Foster, switching Richard Hinds to full-back and dropping David Mulligan to the bench.
Steve Torpey, Daniel McBreen, Ian Ridley, Jim Goodwin and Cliff Byrne, all midweek starters, will be vying for a place on the substitutes' bench.
Northampton v Blackpool
Sean Dyche is an injury doubt ahead of Northampton's clash with Blackpool.
The experienced central defender picked up a knock in training this week and will be assessed by manager John Gorman closer to kick-off.
Left-back Andy Holt is still missing with a rib fracture, while youngster Ryan Gilligan is out for a fortnight after suffering an ankle injury.
On-loan Mitchell Cole hopes to return from a bout of flu but winger Sam Aiston (ankle) and full-back Fred Murray (Achilles) are still ruled out.
Blackpool manager Simon Grayson could give a start to striker Ben Burgess.
Burgess came off the bench to score twice in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Accrington and will vie with Scott Vernon, who has recovered from an ankle injury, and Andy Morrell for a starting berth after they sat out that game.
Carl Dickinson is likely to continue in the absence of long-term knee injury victim Danny Coid, who is joined on the sidelines by goalkeeper Lee Jones (thumb).
Grayson has called on his side to carry their excellent October form into November, saying: ``We've had a very good month in October and it's a foundation to build on. We've played some good stuff.
``But now we need to kick on again and pick up more points to push us into the top end of the play-offs. We can't sit back now.''
Nottm Forest v Brentford
First-choice goalkeeper Paul Smith can expect a recall for Nottingham Forest's home clash with Brentford.
Smith was replaced by Rune Pedersen for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with the Bees which Forest won 2-1.
Ian Breckin, Danny Cullip and Neil Harris are also expected to feature after enjoying an evening off in midweek.
Striker Scott Dobie may be back from long-term hip problems and, latterly, a thigh injury, but the game is likely to come too soon, while midfielder Ross Gardner has also recovered from a thigh injury of his own but is unlikely to feature.
Gary Holt has yet to recover from knee surgery but fellow forward Nathan Tyson is back in training following medial knee ligament damage, although he is not expected to return to first-team contention until Christmas.
Brentford could be without Adam Griffiths for their second meeting in five days with Forest.
After losing 2-1 at the City Ground in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek, the Bees make the same trip for Saturday's clash as they look to end a run of 10 League One matches without a win.
But influential defender Griffiths could be forced to miss the match after suffering a groin strain.
Manager Leroy Rosenior will also give late fitness tests to goalkeeper Stuart Nelson, defender Sam Tillen (both ankle) and forward Chris Moore (virus), while striker Calum Willock is out for six weeks with a fractured eye socket sustained at Oldham last weekend.
Rosenior said: ``I am concerned about our recent run, but I know we will come out of it. We just need a win - it doesn't matter how it comes.''
Forward Lloyd Owusu remains a long-term casualty with a groin injury.
Yeovil v Bristol City
Yeovil will be without on-loan Bristol City striker Marcus Stewart for the home clash with Gary Johnson's men.
Stewart is not allowed to play for the Glovers against his parent club as part of the deal which took him to Huish Park.
Town will be hoping Lee Morris (hamstring) recovers from injury and comes back into contention to start in place of Stewart.
Wayne Gray and Arron Davies will also vie for Stewart's starting spot, while boss Russell Slade can call on new loan signing Martin Brittain from Ipswich, who made his debut in the 2-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Shrewsbury.
Slade will make wholesale changes to the side that lost at Shrewsbury, including recalls for rested quartet Terry Skiverton, Nathan Jones, Chris Cohen and Jean-Paul Kalala.
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson is likely to recall Louis Carey, Jamie McAllister and son Lee after the trio were rested against Leyton Orient in midweek.
That means Liam Fontaine, Craig Woodman and David Noble should make way despite impressive performances in the 3-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Brisbane Road.
Midfield trio Scott Brown (hamstring), Cole Skuse (ankle) and Scott Murray (leg) missed that game through injury but could be back in contention.
On-loan forward Nick Wright was substituted against the Os but Johnson revealed his withdrawal was merely a precautionary measure and the Birmingham youngster should be included in the travelling squad.
