For people who like stats and Actim Index info, you can read the Barclays Statement for this weeks premiership matches below. It's a pdf file so you'll need Adobe Acrobat.

I've looked through all the fixtures and can't see a sniff of value anywhere. I agree with ForzaLazio as well - the game at the Valley is a Lottery - although I also agree with Slick that Dowie is over rated. No bets for me in the Division - best of luck to those of you that do though.

HIGH MORALE for NEWCASTLE after away win against PALERMO.

REST IMPORTANT PLAYERS at midweek match for UEFA CUP.

Some basic players RETURN to team after injuries.

The team has great experience against SEFFIELD.

This is the reasons who`s make me to choose this game.

So i go with HOMEWIN here 1.73 in BETFAIR.

Cahill's close range effort which earned a point at The Emirates made him the club's top scorer this season with seven goals - and his tally for the calendar year to a staggering 15 goals in 35 matches.
15/2 first and last a few places, 11/4ish anytime at betfair. Anyone who likes that sort of bets or some interest for the game could do a lot worse.

1.8 a great price on Newcastle imo.

Played great last week against Charlton and were very unfortunate. Haven't seen them dominate a game and create as many chances as they did last week in as long as i can remember watching them.

Momentum huge now after Thursdays win and they should prove too strong.

Sheff United are a poor side for me and no better than Championship standard. I'd expect Newcastle to win this quite comfortably and the handicaps worth a go.

Rossi/Duff upfront doesn't sound too dangerous on paper but they caused havoc against Charlton.

Definately worth a decent size punt on the home side.

Re: English Premiership: 4/5th Nov

Well done the Wigan Guys today and i'm sorry if City let anyone down again, Charlton were there for the taking especially only playing one up front but City struggled to score once again allthough they dominated play up until Charlton knocked one in.

Thats its for me, no more City bets until we have a decent striker as they will never get a better chance to win an away game all season. Wankers

Bar Man U and Liverpool the rest of the days results no doubt caused heartache for a few and that seems to be the pattern emerging this season, bar the top 4 any of the other teams in the prem can beat each other. Must be a bookies dream.

As for Sundays games i think i'll go through the card just to get some pay back..
West Ham v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Blackburn
Spurs v Chelsea

Two London derbys where Arsenal and Chelsea need to produce after another rags win today but Spurs and West Ham have failed to live upto expectations this season and should not prove to diffiucult for the big boys to overcome.

Villa have the best home record in the Prem and allthough Blackburn are playing well , Savage is out again through injury and i'd like to think they may start tiring due to the UEFA midweek cup commitments but i said the same thing the other week and they were very unlucky to succcomb to Bolton after being the better side and missing two late pens.

Villa could do with the points here and will be looking for them after no wins in their last 4 prem outings.

Re: English Premiership: 4/5th Nov

I cannot see past anything other than both Arsenal and Chelsea winning.

Arsenal could and should have scored a barrel full midweek and I can see West Ham getting the backlash of it. OK they beat Blackburn last week but apart from that they have been very poor and that includes defeats by Reading and NEWCASTLE ??? and Chesterfield. With Arsenal dropping a point against Everton I expect them to have too much for West Ham. AWAY win for me.

Spurs have failed to deliver this season so far but this could be down to their poor away form but even although they are at home today their home form they have beaten Sheff Utd, Pompey and West Ham and to be honest you would have expected them to do it. Looking at the h2h's Chelsea have a fantastic record and although this will end no doubt but I cannot see it hapening today. Chelsea lost their 1st away game to Boro and have won the rest - granted they've not played much either but I think they should have too much for Spurs especially after watching the Man Utd performance yesterday they will not want to let Man Utd extend their lead at the top rather than goal difference.

Re: English Premiership: 4/5th Nov

Youd have to expect Chelsea to win. Not a cert at all but more often than not they will win here. I would be suprised to see a thrashing at the same time though, Chelsea dont often even beat the shit teams by big margins as they tend to take their foot off the gas at 2-0. So im going for 3 correct scores of

Chelsea 1-0 @ 6/1
Chelsea 2-0 @ 13/2
Chelsea 2-1 @ 8/1

2pts staked across those. Gives you something like 6/4 rather than the 4/5 offered on a Chelsea straight win and im prepared to risk that.
