Larsson must be short of match practice though surely

Quite a strong United team in fairness, thought it might be weaker but I guess hes not prepared to take O'Neill as a mug. Fear for Villa here but I suppose the Chelsea draw has raised morale a bit & we'll give them a good go

Larsson has been playing in Sweden up until the 15th December i think it was Swoops. Excellent pro and lack of matches since then wont be a problem for him i dnt think.

nothing much to say but from what I see I will take everton on AH 0.25. It's save to say that Everton is always a force at home. And traditionally Everton is better than Blackburn in the FA CUP.

Re: FA Cup 5-7th Jan

Well, Keeks, I hope youre proved right if you've gone heavy on him but a sharper Larrsson would have put the 1 on 1 away

Villa deserve to be in the game though I think. Well organised, quick to the ball & in numbers......not suggesting thats enough to win though as we've been here with Manure before & got stuffed in the end but I'll take Villas chances at the moment. Theyve a punchers chance from now & if they hold on until 70 minutes theres a chance as it'll really open up as Fergie wont want a replay for sure.

As Hansen just said though, theres nobody like Manure for stepping up the pace

Easy enough saying that Swoops but it was a pretty good save and more a better save than a bad miss.

The chances are coming but Villa holding out for now. Still think there is a couple of goals in this game to come although not too sure if Villa can get one.

Whats happened to Rooney? Everytime i see him these days he is having a nightmare.

Disagree tbh, thought the striker should score there. I like Kiraly but he looks ropey at times particularly kicking

Funny thing about Baros, he looks totally dreadful & then scores he did it against Birmingham last season which kept us up. Larsson took his goal well I thought, & Villa had look half decent since conceding

Villa are idiots.

They were attacking and created several good chances. They finally get their goal and they go back to trying to defend and inviting pressure on themselves now.

Re: FA Cup 5-7th Jan

Well, cant help feeling that was harsh A Manure fan will obviously say they deserved it on balance & attacks but having not converted them the opposite could be true. Villa defended well & had purpose & tbh played pretty well, & tbh Kiko I thought we tried to win the game after levelling. Any team outside of the top 4 will look inequal compared to Man U, & I thought we played as well as we could.

This isnt sour grapes as I thought the realistic way of getting through was a replay, & Kiraly should have saved the winner....but the 4 minutes injury time was a joke, neither trainer had been on ffs. When you play at OT you dont get the breaks, simple as, we could have had a penalty as well, but no way should there have been 4 minutes. After saying that it came in the 1st minute so fairs fair, & he should have fcuking saved it
I remember standing on the Holte End in the mid-90's under Big Ron, having won & Sheff Weds were winning at OT......7 minutes of injury time later & 2 Steve Bruce headers & we werent top after all
Little has changed it seems.....

you sound a little bit bitter swoops, for a down trodden blue nose it was our turn to laugh for once!
seriously you will never get any breaks at old trafford, dont think a ref has given a penalty to the away side for about ten years at least!!!!!

We will have over 3 thousand supporting us, but to be honest most will be treating it as a day out.
