you need to edit the title komp - either that or you really are early and no promotion/relegation

Re: Early Doors - The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

nah i took us all back in time Kegman. It should be easy this week as we know all the scores. Nah. Right i was gonna go for a coffee but a quick run down without saying to much on who i like this week is.....clyde at home poss but theyve played ross a few times in tight games this season and have lost a couple of good players. ross still got folks out? Give me nearer evens on that one before i go there i think.

Dundee v QOS looks another toughie especially as these 2 teams have drawn twice with each other in the past couple of weeks. Dundee to edge it? QOS would prefer the 3pts than the cup win pos though. Livi played great v gretna last time (well for at least a half) I think there could be some value in their price. Gretna i take on at home. Hamilton v Partick looks hard though Partick might think themselves lucky to leave with a win last time. St Johnstone always have probs with Airdrie and have only beaten them once or twice in the past 10 i'd say.

Alloa v ayr is always a game i avoid. Interested in reports from last time out. think ayr shaded the draw (i think it ended 1-1) Cowdenbeath i think could still have Forfar's measure but again i would need to read reports. Morton Stirling is a hard game and not one for me. Peterhead i could like at home to Stranraer who seem to be a bit out of sorts. 2 unpredictable teams. Goals? maybe.

Albion are playing well and elgin's defence must be bad. Still too hard for me to say though. Im not interested i think. Albion are supposedly the team to beat in Div 3 at the mo. Youd have to fancy Dumbarton at the Rock. 4-0 last time there i think with some clinical finishing. stenousemuir are not a team to back for or against though at the mo imo as you just don't know what team are gonna turn up. Dumbarton could either hammer them or suddenly Stenhousemuir's promotion push is back on.

East fife v Berwick is a cracker and one im swerving from the off. Holy hell East Stirling v Arbroath? Been there and done that with Arbroath being odds on. Can't see me being tempted. Montrose you could almost take to squeeze out a narrow victory at Queens Park due to their record there but again why throw money away when you reckon they wont win.

Just reading up. Dumbarton appear to have signed Alex Burke who is ex kilmarnock ex somewhere else. He's expected to do a job in the 3rd division. stenhousemuir have got Scott Mculloch who i like and the Partick fans will miss too. Good signing. Montrose have sacked their second manager of the season but thats not a bad thing as their last one was John robertson.

Im going to bed. I hate spinless St Johnstone i really do.

Can anyone comment on Albion-Elgin, I can get Albion -1 @1.926 which looks good comnsidering league position and the past results which were 3-0, 3-1, 5-2 in albions favour.

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

I dunno Mahatma really. I wouldnt be suprised if anything could happen i suppose. I havent read reports on their Stenhousemuir game but to me their defence looks a bit out of sorts after seeing the Deveronvale goals and by the amount their conceding. Theyve got Martin Johnstone's goals up front and 'talisman' Nelson should be back playing by now. Albion are playing well though and you could be wise by staying on the right side of them. Goals for sure i'd say. Good luck if you go with it and welcome to TDP Mahatma.

I forgot about coupon therapy lately. Usually as im so tired and im on a shite run. I feel im coming into form though even with a few knocks. I better get some money on early before i lose it all on Hibs tonight. I aint very positive about things today sorry.

You have to look at Clyde at home most weeks and this week their playing ross county who have never won at Clyde in the league in 16 attempts. Team news seems k to me with both some in and some out. The price 4/5 on them isnt that great imo but on a win basis i'll probably take it. I hate these singles at Betfair though how many golden 'rules' of gambling did i just break there?

Reading Golabek could be at Ross for Saturday. I remember Spacecat raving about him at Inverness. The move might do him good. Alex Williams you could expect to finally score this season v the club he came from where he couldt score. Hopefully.

Sorry i have to go as ive just heard that the woman i love Jade Goody has been up to no good again

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

i don't fancy the false breasted fat fudded bully anymore but anyhow onto Div 2.

Im suprised about the lack of goals between Alloa and Ayr in the past year. 4 games and 5 goals between them. Maybe i shouldnt be as Alloa have no strikers and Ayr have one Varielle and he should be missing for saturday after getting 'wrongly' red carded last week at Forfar. as mentioned yesterday when i was lead to belive he would miss last nights knightmare it could make ayr change their formation and it could make the game more open. the under 2.50 (1.85 on betfair) could appeal if you was into under goals bets. I aint. The home side hasnt won this fixture in the last 7.

Nothing much appeals in Div 2 to me i think. Maybe Peterhead but i'd have to read up a bit on that one. Match reports between the 2 could be interesting mind. Peterhead could be a pretty changed team come sat mind.

I was on Berwick to beat East Fife in the cup now i remember on the same terms. I have to be interested in them again. A must win game for East Fife but their current form aint helping them. Berwick are flying too. the draws a worry and also you have to expect some let up in Berwicks great run but they could be still worth following. East fife got Nicholas back from Stranraer i believe. Lots to look at.

Looking at Arbroath at east stirling i think ive managed to back arbroath both times in their 2 defeats v East stirling in the past year and a bit. I managed to not back them in the 4 wins too. I aint going near. Cue Arbroath win

Montrose are on their worst run ever i think. 11 loses in their last 12 games. that must have been all the games robertson was manager in They started the season ok before the old poisened chalice Robertson turned up. surely they can only get better?

Thanks Komp. You open with 'I dunno Mahatma really. I wouldnt be suprised if anything could happen i suppose' then you say that Elgins defense is crap and Albion are playing well. You've convinced me if not yourself.

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

but Elgin still have Johnstone and Nelson playing and Albion could be just flash in the pan stuff. Looking at results in this Division anything really can happen this season.

Yip Nelson is back. Maybe Elgin will go on a wee run now as they did last season after xmas
http://p211.ezboard.com/felgincityfc...tart=1&stop=20

Last season i think they won 90% of their games with Nelson operating in their midfield Mahatma. This is one of the reasons i havent convinced myself. New manager and Albion's famous shittey turf and stadium, Albion used to have probs at home. Not so much this season. Im just for the overs in this one but it will probably be about 1.5ish

Be interesting if any of these 3 go before saturday too

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

Not even seen a coupon this week busy house sitting no computer , not much homework done but just give a shortlist of one that caught my eye , first overs look ok in the Albion Elgin match, and i think the value lies in the away team big price, on a pitch that is a leveller Elgin 9/2 massive. Cowden may have the measure of Forfar Rattray sus. Peterhead appeal a bit, in my notes Stranraer dont travel to welland dont create much away Moore still suspended still blunts the attack a bit. Staying clear of Arbroath i have backed them ew for the league in a treble so every time i back them they loose so hence. Queens should beat Montrose on current form to slick at Hampden (if its not a lottery weather wise). That is a good signing Stenny have made solid player and a rocket shot , Dumbarton good at the rock and Stenny shaky at the moment ,this guy will help though. Ayr Varielle out Alloa had no strikers last week need team news may fancy Alloa a bit may be others but thats it for now , Berwick also on form.

Yo

Yeah, he's here on a months loan, but talk of him maybe staying til the end of the season... Maybe you'd know more about that that me?

Plays left back, was cover for our captain who was injured, and our other left back option is out for a while too.

He's been good. Solid performances in the games i've seen, gets forward when needed and can put in a decent cross. Promising!

Heard he mighta gone back to United though, coz they wanted him for the St Mirren replay... but as he was contract to Arbroath on the original date it was to be played, he wasn't eligible, so our manager was wanting him back again.

I wouldn't complain anyway!
