Stenny Sign The King of Queens
Campbell Money is delighted to announce the arrival to the club of Andy
Thomson, signed today from Queen of the South. Andy has an incredible
goalscoring record throughout his career with a lengthy spell down south including Southend and QPR. Andy will join as hopefully a significant piece in the
jigsaw as we again saw off stiff competition for his signature. One of the
reasons for signing will be to add some coaching experience to the club with
a specific focus on taking our young strikers under his wing and turning them
into superstars. Andy has signed an 18 month contract and we wish his every
success in doing what he does best - putting the ball in the net!

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 27th Jan

It all just makes the game an even bigger no bet for me.

Just reading this on Arbroath last time out at dumbarton.

I am very weary of having not played a full game in what, over three weeks? (And against an on form team) I was at the Rock on the 13th and for the 45 minutes we played, we didn't really have a sniff. If the game had went on, we would have lost by more than one goal, I assure you of that.

I just hope that in the time that has passed since then, we have managed to sort out who plays where! We were an utter shambles at Dumbarton, and I feel we were lucky to have the game called off.

It's a shame that the lad Chaplain hasn't moved, he will be instrumental tomorrow, in my eyes.

I suppose Albion has to be the value bet Edin really. Im for some 5/1 ht/ft on them anyhow.

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 27th Jan

I've heard many conflicting reports from that game komp (including from our manager), that Dumbarton had a huge wind behind them 1st half, and we had a really waterlogged patch in the middle of our half which made it impossible to do anything in defence to midfield, so it would have been the same for Dumbarton 2nd half with Arbroath able to get 1 or 2 goals.

To be honest, 5/1 HT FT for Albion is a nice price and Albion are the form team. I don't want to put anyone off them if they are confident. Won't happen tho Still fancy juicy home odds myself.

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 27th Jan

Ive taken a wee bit of Albion to win at 3.2? on betfair Edin. I wont have anymore. I just think they could be worth a little bit though i'd be very suprised if they can keep up their good run. Their scoring and thats why im more on the overs in the game.

Just gonna read back on the last games

airdrie 2-1 Clyde
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t47102.html
Looks like Airdrie had Clyde's measure but they wont have Xavier Barrau this time im led to believe, Anyone confirm this?

Livingston 0-1 Hamilton
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t47082.html
Too muddling for me still.

St Johnstone 3-3 Gretna
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t47099.html
Whats the best price on St Johnstone? nooooooooo its ok> i AINT BOTHERED

Ross County 1-0 Dundee
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t47107.html
you couldnt possivly back Dundee with ross playing ok, the way that game went and their previous record. I couldnt back Ross either.

Stirling 3-0 Forfar
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45606.html
Still aint interested. I took stirling at Forfar in their 2-0 win next time and i think forfar were a bit unlucky but Stirling won it comfortable enough. Nah im gonna just leave ir

Brechin 2-0 Alloa
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45624.html
looks a tight game. If i could get evens on the home i would but i dont think brechin are close to that. Not one ive looked at due to price i think. Should be a home but a draw wouldnt suprise me.

Ayr 1-2 Peterhead
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45531.html
yip i have to back Peterhead. Probably take the overs too. I was on peterhead that day and on raith on this one-

Stranraer 1-4 Raith
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45526.html
Again i have to. I dont know if im just copying myself same time as last time. They both look better for it too.

Cowdenbeath 1-2 Morton
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...45371-100.html
Hard to deny morton arent playing better than last game and Beath are certainly worse. add to the fact Morton have went to Cowdebeah and knocked them out of 2 cups in the past year too you would have to back Morton wouldnt you? I dont know if i can at the odds. cowdenbeath scare me.

Stenhousemuir 2-1 Queens Pk
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45605.html
Again too muddling. Should be a good game.

Montrose 1-0 East Fife
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45625.html
That doesnt fill me with too much confidence

Elgin 0-2 Dumbarton
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45527.html

Berwick 2-2 East Stirling
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t45603.html
Aye Berwick havent beaten East Strling by a goal in the past few seasons. As mentioned East Stirling have beaten East Fife, Arbroath and Queen's Pk on their latest trips away (3/4) and i think they could suprise. They;ll be really good or really bad. I hope its good

I actually fancied quite a bit, i look for over pricing and i felt there was a bit on that in the scottish card. Queen of the south was never a 15/8 shout and neither was Queens park at 11/5. Peterhead was also never a 2/1 shout and i felt Hamilton was never a 9/4 against a Livingston team that is struggling at home although injuries to Hamiton put me off. I decided to play safe this weekend and did the Queens park/QOS/Peterhead on asian handicap of +0.25. My biggest disappointment was East Fife as i thought they was a nap and 3-0 up they should really not draw from there . Also backed the dons once i found out the team on friday night and we won so i'm happy. mmm had a good few months due a bad week or two soon
