Montrose been told to have a right go at the Clyde defence which has leaked 6 goals in 2 games. I asked the guy i know who plays for them, he suggested theyll play counter attack against them as they did Forfar in the cup last year. Says they will win no problem! Id take that with a pinch of salt!

Re: Scottish CIS Cup - Tue/Wed 9/10th Aug

No offence Mr C but all the footie players ive ever known are the worst gamblers ive ever met. I even know an ex Ayr player that bust his own coupon when scoring the winner for ayr v someone he had backed.

I still think Stranraer will win but Smart is no mug in midfield and puts himself about a bit and Martin is always worth a goal. Im a bit cautious at taking them at anymore than 4/6. Moore and co could get 6 but it could be tighter.

Most have the goals against Clyde have been defensive errors. I could take Montrose to draw though Mr C.

Re: Scottish CIS Cup - Tue/Wed 9/10th Aug

sorry i'll stop being miserable and get this coupon of mine sorted. I just aint confident about ANYTHING any more. I might try a wee 3 form 5 draws on the ones i think are too tight to call 3/5 give me about 2/1 return from memory. Gives me an interest.

Re: Scottish CIS Cup - Tue/Wed 9/10th Aug

I'm not taking Stranraer in the end. Can't fully explain why, but like Komp, I feel it could be a lot closer than people may think. I know it's not exactly great to lose two games 4-0, but then again, it's only two games. East Fife could improve tonight with a slightly stronger team out.

I've never been a fan of Stranraer, don't think I backed them much at all last season, even though they got promoted

Well, cup games are never really the place for confidence and I aint going daft but have an interest in Stranraer, Stenny, St Johnstone and Ross County. Still thinking about that 3.75 for Partick @ UKBetting (bet365 only go 2.87 for Partick incidentally). Can they nick it? I think they can. Will they? Probably not. Is it worth the bother? Maybe. Errrrrm. I dunno anymore.

You might as well give it a go Mickey, you'll only be kicking yourself if they win. I'm still kicking myself about a couple of bets I fancied at the weekend, but didn't take, which then won

Good luck to you all. I am genuine about the Montrose and Stranraer/East Fife info and you will see my punts posted accordingly. I aint following their tips Komp but their inside knowledge is invaluable. Im feeling cocky now about the Montrose punt now! Anyway good luck. If your doing draws might it be beter to take them from English Championship

Re: Scottish CIS Cup - Tue/Wed 9/10th Aug

but Hamilton one down for me Leeside. Hello and welcome to The Daily Punt Leeside. Not to sound an old grouch if we keep all the match talk during the game on the place your bet thread and it will keep this clean for afterwards and tomorrow nights games.

Hamilton will come back for me. If Dumbarton dont get a flukey 2nd then Hamilton will still win i reckon.

been speaking to guy who does official Forfar site and he tells me beware the backlash! haha Suggests Stenny are a better punt!
never a truer word spoken by myself yet I still backed County!
