Re: CC League One - 15th Oct

Straight off the top of my head......Colchester had a good win @ Blackpool yesterday so could be worth looking at @ home to Bournemouth.
Port Vale @ odds against at home to Bradford might appeal but Bradford are in action tonight.
Might be worth chancing Bristol City as Tranmere seem to be in disarray.

I've been reading the Walsall boards a lot this season & its a tough trip to Huddersfield for them. Best to reserve judgement until after Huddersfields trip to Bradford tonight, but reading this:

The Express and Star (fantastic value at only thirty two pence) is reporting this lunchtime that Simon Osborn is due to miss Saturday's visit to Huddersfield through suspension.

Merson was forced to replace Paul Smith and Anthony Gerrard on Saturday as both players were injured. Steve Staunton and Ian Roper are both struggling to regain full match fitness and Darren Wrack and the manager himself are both long term injury losses.

Craig Pead who returned to the starting line up against MK Dons following his one match ban against Port Vale lasted 37 minutes before having to be replaced after an injury to his hip.

Jorge Leitao should be available again this Satruday after being rested at the weekend. He may however be pressed into service on the right side of midfield should Pead suffer any after effects.

Merson is uncertain of the chances of any of the present injuries being fit for the visit to the Galpharm Stadium but Paul Smith looks the likeliest to return.

....now Pead would be a big loss but if Simon Osbourn is missing, then that 4/6 looks value as he is the heart of the team according to the boards

You must be joking seriously? Bradford the last few seasons have been better than anyone away from home in the CC leagues and last year they lost less than 1/3 of there away games.

Theyve started the same this year where they have lost 1 in 6 on there travels. Added to that there 6 games unbeaten with one of the strongest squads in the division.

Port Vale are just an average side in this league who are very very inconsistent. They lose a lot of games and they win a few too, very rarely drawing from what I remember last year.

The only big absentee in tonights game is Windass and he will be back after his suspension on saturday so it should be good on the injury front.

3.2 Available on Bradford now and I hope to get around 3.5 but anything above 2.9 I would take.

Re: CC League One - 15th Oct

Bradford are at home so the X2 is probably on.

Port Vale should be at least 2/1 IMO. Nothing like a disagreement to start a thread off

Although I would ask you to explain why you reckon Vale at odds against is worth looking at against my Bradford.

Cant wait til we play your Walsall

Re: CC League One - 15th Oct

Well, I had nothing in front of me when I did it, but Vale are decent @ home, & as you said Bradford lost a third of their away games...presumably to decent home sides. I know whats in my head & when I look down & see somebody I rate as half decent at home @ odds against versus a team below them in the table, then I'm going to say its worth a look....which is all ive said above

This aint going to go on all week again is it ??

Re: CC League One - 15th Oct

unfortunately it'll be the only game I will be looking at in this league so not much scope for an argument.

In truth we will never know who was right or wrong whatever the outcome.

WooHoo, +2.5 goals in the Bradford game, I actually called the correct score too but didn't proof that for my website! Damn, anyway tonight was a profitable one.. Its harder to pick games now because of the damn site, not to mention time consuming. But at least its well up on profit... Its going to be a looong hard season

I've just taken a bot on the 2.82 on offer at Betfair For Southend - 8 wins on the bounce against underperforming Doncaster who have gone down 3 times at home already. The general 7/4 about puzzels me.
