Re: Midweek Non-League 24-26th

I.m doubling my stake on Morecambe I am..best way to get revenge IMO.

Hampton 2-1 so just a couple of points lost on my mis-adventure.

Still if somebody had relayed the circumstances to me at HT 1-1 against ten men and asked me how much I'd want at 1.72 I'd lost a bit more than 5 pts thats for sure..

Skybet here I come...

Yeah but the market's are down.

Spotted it a few weeks back and will belatedly get on it tomorrow if they're stupid enough to be still 9/2. Ferriby have lost another good player to an Oz team and I think frickley are inconsistant. Burscough are obvious class and that price is way too big seeing they'll be a point or two off the top if they win their games in hand.

Re: Midweek Non-League 24-26th

Well, what can I say, that didn't go according to plan! Apologies if anyone went with me on Canvey, I might have known as soon as I went 'public' with any 'great tips' then I would come a cropper.

Just got back from Burnham - I haven't even got any hard luck stories about the game. Canvey took the lead on 20 minutes and looked comfortable although without creating too much other than the goal. Was reasonably confident about the bet and then just before half time Burnham equalised with a well worked free kick move which was their first real chance of the game. However, 1-1 at half time was probably fair enough as although Canvey had more quality they didn't seem to know how to break Burnham down.

Right at the start of the second half, Burnham were down to ten men and things looked rosy. After that however, Canvey barely looked like scoring! In fact ten man Burnham had a couple of chances to win it with Canvey unable to handle the pace of Burnham's front two. And then in true FA Cup giant killing style, Burnham won an injury time penalty, scored it, cue mad celebrations, pitch invasions, the lot at the final whistle!

So a bad night for me on the betting front, although at least Billericay won at 6/4 as some consolation.

I will post my weekend selections up here nearer the time, but if tonight is anything to go by, maybe steer clear of anything I suggest! Oh, and I will be at the Thurrock v Stortford match on Saturday by the way (although I won't be betting on it). I should just add that I notice that people seem keen on backing against Maidenhead. I saw them last week against Stortford and they have a new manager and new team and I don't think it will be long before they start winning again. Perhaps not Saturday, but soon. It was a travesty that we won that game 1-0.

Re: Midweek Non-League 24-26th

I think Bradford have a run, 5-1-1.Only one defeat versus Farsley (20th August) away 3-0.

Blyth 2-1 W
Witton 2-3 W
Farsley Celtic 4-3 W
Runcorn 2-2 D (A)
Guiseley 0-3 W
Wakefield 2-1 W

home: 3-0-0
away: 2-1-1

Frickley
North Ferriby 1-2 W
Ashton 3-0 L
Telford 1-3 W
Blyth 3-2 W
Lincoln Utd. 2-2 (H)
Osset 2-4W
Radcliffe 0-0 (H)

home:1-2-1
away:3-0-0

Frickley is better away than at home (??)...

In table Bradford sit on the 6th place, 3 points apart from Frickley, but Frickley is the second best at the moment. With 28 points 5 points behind North Ferriby the first in ladder.

Bradford looks good to me.But I don“t know the injuries etc.!Have anyone a preview site for the non league stuff? I looked at nonleaguedaily.com,but they have only stats and results. And on the clubsites aren“t much informations...

Re: Midweek Non-League 24-26th

Tiverton game won't be on thegerman. They played an FA Cup replay last night (losing narrowly 0-1 in the 87th minute) against Nuneaton Boro. Their general form puts me off backing the Mangoes at the weekend as an aside

Bradford's current form is excellent as is Frickley's away form as you've pointed out. Unless I can get some decent team news or insights I would probably leave this match alone. The best place for information is often the forums which usually means I have to google for them as I always forget to bookmark them I've yet to look for more detail, and I also want to check out their FA Trophy and FA Cup performances as much of October has been taken up with these. I should be able to remember them but I can't
