nice info swoops,all i know is that buxton near top of their league and alvechurch about 6th from bottom of theirs, both step 5 leagues, ie same standard. buxton won 9, drew 2 lost 1 and according to fridays NLP attract crowds of up to 600.might be frozen off again as buxton is high up in the peak district, you would expect buxton to win but odds too short for me

anyone got any team news on histon at weston? 7-4 a good price but havent they got a lot of injuries?

Histon are playing really crap at the moment mate. Considering they were top and look at where they are now youll see maybe just how bad. That price certainly aint anything more than fair to me. Good luck if you go with it.

Thanks Mr M,didnt realise how far they had slipped down the league,just looked at their website, they have signed a couple of players from lewes and aylesbury but doesnt look as good a bet now

Off topic sorry I've lived in Alvechurch off & on since the early 90's Broms & also the Red Lion was my local too, decent drinking house but they ruined it the gaffer from there then is still at the Swan up the road & I drank there for years but I'm off it now mainly although I still pop in now & again. Stands a chance I'll know your face then, mate I've helped out the football club over the years as they used to borrow my outfield mower to roll the pitch. I think it'll be off the way it felt earlier & I was up that way earlier, Buxton. New member, Spanishrich, lived in Alvechurch for years too. Come to think of it Broms, I played in goal for Broms Hockey Club for years...small world ehh Course, I wouldnt associate with bluenoses
