Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
As has been said many times before, team news is crucial in this competition before placing any bets, but in the mean time, at first glance could be tempted by Peterborough and Rochdale.
As for the Gills, Neale Cooper had said we'd take this competition seriously, but he's now gone, not sure what Ronnie Jepson makes of it. In any case, Cooper had little choice about the team we put out in the first round, we had so many injuries the team virtually picked itself anyway. With players now coming back that may change.

Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
Gees there are some tempting prices there. After having ballsed it up in the last round I'm inclined to give it a miss. What I will say which you may or may not find helpful is that I fully expect Barnet to field close to if not a full strength line-up. Hereford, Peterborough and Woking interest me. Must admit I was kind of hoping there'd be 3.00 about Hereford and then I'd use the DNB option so I'll have to think about that one. Woking beat Forest in the last round so why not a repeat performance against a jekyll and hide Cheltenham who if they slightly under estimate their opponents they'll be in for a shock, Woking is never an easy place to go as Forest proved. Peterborough are unbeaten in 6 however this game has draw potential with both sides have drawn 4 of their last 6.
Much to ponder.

Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
Rochdale are 10/3 In Corals Gills and I have to say that will tempt me into a bet as they will take this more seriously than Tranmere and I dont think theres an awful lot between the two anyway. I really Like Rochdale away and Tranmere arent the team they used to be. Ill make a final decision on the amount later.

Cheers, unfortunately I only have one account, which is with Bet365, so had to take the 13/5 with them.

Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
Gills v Wycombe line ups:
Gills:
Bullock, Clohessy, Cox, Johnson, Williams, Spiller, Smith, Crofts, Jarvis, Harris, Byfield
Subs: Saunders, Jackman, Corneille, Brown, Shields
Have absolutely no idea who Clohessy is , other than that it's a pretty strong line up, although Chris Hope is missing from central defence.
Wycombe:
Turner, Senda, Johnson, Williamson, Martin, Betsy, Burnell, Torres, Bloomfield, Dixon, Griffin.
Subs: Easton, Williams, Anya, Keogh, Philo
Have no idea how that compares to their normal line up. I'm off to find out who Clohessy is

Boston Utd v Kidderminster HarriersAny ideas?
Don't think Kidderminster are really taking this competition very seriously - resting Atieno, Fleming and couple of others. Boston are at full strength apart from Noel Whelan. On loan Sheff Utd midifelder Ian Ross makes his debut.
Can only really see a home victory....

Think you know more than anyone else on this Super Angel, on the basis of your team news it certainly looks a good bet but this competition is treated with real mistrust generally we find, best of luck though

Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
I tend to stay away from cup competitions usually, because, hey, shocks and upsets are virtually second nature. Not sure I really fancy that game to be honest. I'll see how I feel tomorrow...
Any other comments on this match would be very much appreciated..

Re: LDV Vans Trophy 22/23 Nov
Hello and welcome Super Angel. Appreciate the thoughts and comments. I aint really taken on anything for tionight. Ill go see bbc's easy previews though and see if anything gets me excited. I know Orient are in good away form and Oxford cant buy a goal. Northampton away in cups i like too.
Boston v Kidderminster
Veteran striker Noel Whelan is Boston's only injury concern as he remains sidelined recovering from a hernia.
On-loan Sheffield United midfielder Ian Ross is pushing for a recall after missing the weekend home defeat to Notts County.
On-loan Walsall striker Taiwo Atieno could miss out for Kidderminster to avoid being cup-tied so Lee Thompson could make a rare start.
Terry Fleming may be rested while Daryl Burgess and Mark Jackson are doubtful.
Colchester v Northampton
Colchester striker Marino Keith and defender Stephen Hunt are still missing with long-term ankle injuries.
Dean Howell (stomach) is closer to a first-team comeback but will not make the squad in time for the LDV Vans Cup match with the League Two side.
Northampton goalkeeper Lee Harper is doubtful with a troublesome knee and so Michael Poke is ready to stand in.
Striker Martin Smith may be rested but defender Brett Johnson could return as he recovers from a lay-off
Oxford v Leyton Orient
Oxford midfielder Mark E'beyer could make a welcome return to the first team after battling cancer.
On-loan Cardiff striker Andy Campbell returns from injury and is expected to play some part.
Leyton Orient defender Donny Barnard could make his first appearance for the club in five weeks after recovering from a broken hand.
The only absentee will be defender Joe Dolan, who is cup-tied having played for Stockport in the first round

Boston United manager Steve Evans will field his full first team squad in tomorrow's LDV Vans Trophy clash with Kidderminster Harriers at York Street.
Sheffield United loanee Ian Ross is added to Saturday's squad and it's a game that could take the Pilgrims to within three matches of a trip to the Millennium Stadium.
Evans confirmed that the players were working hard in preparation for Wednesday night, but did confirm that he himself might miss the match to spy on an unnamed player target.
The Pilgrims have a tough 11 days ahead, with Wrexham due to visit on Saturday and next week's FA Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers looming on the horizon.

...We'll be doing it without Taiwo Atieno as well because Walsall are not allowing him to play in case he's needed in the final.
We'll also be without Simon Russell (fractured wrist), Gareth Sheldon (hamstring) and Martin O'Connor (groin surgery). Wayne Hatswell will probably return to the side after missing the York game through suspension and that will then allow Michael Blackwood to return to his normal position out wide.
Hoping to be starting against his former side will be Lee Thompson but I think he'll have to be satisfied with a place on the bench.
Also hoping for another game will be Russ Penn following his promising debut on Saturday when, once he had calmed down after getting booked, he had quite an impressive game that would do his chances of a regular start no harm at all. Hoping to take the place of Tai will be Marc Pugh, he also had a good game on Saturday...

Harriers from:
Danby, Lewis, Hatswell, Burgess, Evans, Mullins, Ludlow, Jackson, Flynn, Fleming, Pugh, Graves, Heslop, Hurren, Penn, Christie, Hollis, Sheldon, Wilson, Blackwood, Thompson.
Boston from:
Abbey, Wright, Canoville, McCann, Ellender, Futcher, White, Greaves, Maylett, Green, Holland, Rusk, Thomas, Talbot, Melton, Ross, Lee, Joachim, Norris, Dudfield
Boston @1.70 looks promising to me...

Just saved me a job was going to go into depth but
'Boston manager Steve Evans boasts a virtually full-strength squad for the visit of Kidderminster' from football365.
and what you said above is enought for me.
8pts Boston - 8/13 @ Totesport
