Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
Villa and Wigan could be decent....Charlton need a big turnaround in form, while Spurs may play to Wigans strengths...value ,maybe

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
Aye very short considering he aint scored this term, would have took about 5's for the novelty value.
I'd be wary of Wigan fasteddy so soon after a defeat in case its knocked the wind out of their sails, even though they did give Arsenal a cracking fight for the points.
Spurs don't inspire me either on recent performances but do possess the personel to role over Wigan on paper or @ least grab a draw.
Wigan maybe on the half ball but what no doubt would drop to odds on puts me off it.

Spurs still aren't settled on their strikers and that's an edge to give Wigan, who are very settled and free of injuries as well, a shout..the AH might be a good shout Slick

Yeh, im getting tired of all the hype about spurs, we always seem to have some excuse or reason to do shit, especially when things start of fairly decently...cant finish games, defoe, mido and keane, i cant for the life of me think why on earth we cant get them fucking balls in the net with players as mentioned and finish the games off.
Tbh, i still dont think europe is concrete for us this term (again), i dont really expect us to win, but a loss is by no means a massive shock to me, as wigan are as we know, showing the class of a well matured premiership team already. My money is going nowhere near this match, not because i cant back on or against my team, but i just dont know what kind of performance we will bring on the day.

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
Pretty tough set of fixtures Komp, Bar the big boys.
Thats an idea, let me see...........ehhm!! Chelsea , Man U and Arsenal comes to aound 3's for the win.
Not a trebles man myself but i'll be looking down a similar route if nothing starts to throw itself @ me.
I'm still getting drawn to Charlton mind as Villas one win @ Sunderland doesent inspire me and Charlton will be looking to steady the boat after a couple of shakey results.
Still not a great bet mind but most of this weeks games are like this.
Have to fancy Newcastle like we have said though if Owen and Shearer are fit and playing.

Given, Ramage, Boumsong, Bramble, Babayaro, Solano, Parker, Emre, Luque, Shearer, Owen
Thats my prediction for the Newcastle team tomorrow....with Bowyer and Newcastles best player --->N'Zogbia looking to get a starting place
Taylor, Carr, Dyer and Moore all injured.
Should be far too good for Everton!!

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
You can have the best team in the world Jesus but under Souness you aint going nowhere.
At 2/1 for Manchester City its a price too good to be missed. Were very strong and high tempo at home and it will suit that Liverpool will want to win this match unlike Blackburn who were only interested in the draw. Its an absoulte joke Liverpool are favourites as they have done nothing in the Premier league to warrant it. IMO good value on the home side.
Manchester City vs Liverpool 2pts@2/1
My avatar has nothing to do with it

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
Stole this from Lawro on the bbc. Couldnt agree more with his comments on the game. I really fancy Liverpool tommorro, their creating chance after chance and are solid at the back, recipe for success.
I know Liverpool probly shoudln be favourites but I dont want the Citeh fans hiding behind their price when they get beat
Man City v Liverpool
City couldn't break Blackburn down last week and I can't see them managing to break Liverpool down either. Liverpool really don't look like conceding at the moment and are creating more chances too - they're playing better football and have a more open approach.

Now theres a man with logic, Mark Lawrenson, if they cant score one week they'll never score again!

Then it would be very silly to back them as your going against value, your own judgment and playing into the bookies hands. As has been discussed before, wether city win or lose does not tell us what the right bet was.
Now dont you ever go against City again!

I dont go too far into all the value stuff, I just fancy Liverpool and 6/4 general is a alrite price imo for the champions of europe

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
I hardly ever back in the Premiership as there is so much information available to the odds compilers that they rarely, if ever, get it wrong. That said there might be a smidgen of value in the 3.00 available on Charlton away. With one of the best away records in the league they have a decent chance against an indifferent Villa outfit. I'll have a look at the team news and see if anything significant puts me off.

Re: Premiership 26th/27th Nov
Good luck Gaz Stod and don't let Christianu put you off You'll get used to him talking up City's chances, Mr M talking up Everton's chances and (most bizarely of all) Jesus trying to convince us all that Newcastle are a decent team
