Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
Thanks for your well wishers Guys .
I will be back tonight for more .
But do understand that i have a different way of punting . That is
Ananlysis , update on team news , field condition , and etc is a good information but theses days , betting is never the same as most games can be read from the handicap odds that Bookies gives us . ANd i do believe that some games are Fixed , believe or not ! I never believed this until i ahe been following up some patterns .
Just like results on the Austria league yesterday and Holland league 2 day before ,
But Arsenal and BiR was a good example of what media says and team news says but odds are totally diffferent . Only surprise was Aston Villa result which i have failed to study that . I am still learning and hope somehow i can master that . Meantime is just trial and error ( Hope not too many Errors ) cant afford that .
bets for last night
http://forum.limso.net/showthread.php?t=1434
Cheers guys and thanks for the warm welcome

Very true, that's what I have been doing so far, except for JLeague. Bookies still make a few mistakes in JLeague so it's a good league to profit from.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
Aye very true Guru. Im a big fan of moral, motivation and dressing room spirit too. Cracking stuff all in but i liked the millawall low scoring advice best. Spot on mate
Right what we all got for tonight then people?
from the bbc...
Charlton v Blackburn
Charlton boss Alan Curbishley will make changes after his side lost a fourth straight league game on Saturday.
Veteran goalkeeper Dean Kiely may come back in for Stephan Andersen while Danny Murphy and winger Dennis Rommedahl could also start.
Blackburn duo Lucas Neill (back) and Tugay (calf) are doubtful.
Striker Paul Dickov should recover from a thigh problem while on-loan forward David Bentley returns after being ineligible to face Arsenal on Saturday.
Bolton v Leicester
Bolton striker El-Hadji Diouf misses the Carling Cup tie with Leicester through suspension, so Stelios could be recalled by manager Sam Allardyce.
Nicky Hunt (broken leg) and Henrik Pedersen (Achilles) are approaching full fitness and may be given run outs.
Leicester will recall Mark de Vries to their attack as Iain Hume is cup-tied and on-loan Ryan Smith is ineligible.
Striker Elvis Hammond and goalkeeper Paul Henderson both face late fitness tests on ankle injuries.
Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace
Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren is expected to field a strong side for the visit of Crystal Palace.
Midfielder Gaizka Mendieta's calf injury keeps him out of the Carling Cup match but he aims to be fully fit in time for the weekend.
Palace striker Andrew Johnson will play "a good portion of the game" and Tony Popovic is back after international duty with Australia.
Marco Reich (hernia surgery) and Danny Granville both miss out through injury
Man Utd v West Brom
Gary Neville and Louis Saha will continue their comebacks from injury in the Carling Cup against West Brom.
Park Ji-sung also has a chance to improve his match fitness while impressive teenager Giuseppe Rossi will start in attack.
West Brom are without Steve Watson (hamstring), Curtis Davies (cup-tied) and goalkeeper Chris Kirkland (kidney).
Martin Albrechtsen and Darren Moore will cover in West Brom's defence while Tomasz Kuszczak will continue in goal.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
wins for:
Manyoo: 1.50 or better
Blackburn : 3.00 or better
Bolton: 1.50 or better
all these sides need some positive momentum and they will take it where they find it. I know mid week Carling's isn't the fav place of many managers, but with the way the league looks at this time it won't be sniffed at.
Ladbrokes offer Wigan +0.25 @ 2.04...nice bet , I'd say. Yes, they have been beaten in successive weeks, but Jewell will rest THAT squad. This "Cup" lot are well capable of taking something from the misfiring Magpies.
Bet365 offer Wigan @ 3.39: again, I think this is well worth a look. This Carling squad that Jewell has put out so far are doing well enough. Guaranteed to score...BANKER!!!!
Take Overs as well, and also some of that 2.25 'to qualify'...How many bets do I want!!???...loveleeeeeeee

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
I'll be shouting for Leicester, eddy, sorry. I'm glad to see De Vries will be in for this one as he has done the job in this type of match so well in the past for Levein and Hearts. Leicester +1 @ 2.15..... hmmmm I'm actually now being drawn to the draw HT @ 2.20 as this match apprears pretty darn tight to me. I still fancy a wee bit on Leicester @ 7.00 - I'm going to have a think.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
I always like the manager's previews before matches as you often pick up a few clues. Here's Mr Levein from the official Leicester site:
Quote:
Craig Levein says that City's fine away cup form will stand them in good stead for their trip to Bolton on Wednesday evening.
The Foxes enjoyed a run in the FA Cup that took them all the way to the quarter-final stage last season - picking up wins at Blackpool, Reading and Charlton Athletic along the way.
And that form has been mirrored in the early rounds of this season's League Cup competition - with Levein's men winning on the road at Bury and Cardiff.
Levein admits that his side will face their toughest test to date under his stewardship when they come up against the Trotters, but he confirmed that his players would be going into the clash holding no fears.
He said: "It's a big match for us. Bolton will be formidable no matter who they select from their squad for the game because they have such good players and strength in depth. We expect a tough match.
"We go into the game as underdogs, which is unusual for us because our name takes us into most matches in the league as favourites to win - regardless of our position in the table. So there will be a little bit less pressure on us.
"You need a strong squad to get into the position that Bolton are in in the Premiership. They must have a strong squad - you cannot maintain that kind of form with only 13 or 14 good players.
"They'll be decent, there is no doubt about that, so we have got to go there and give it our absolute best and hope that they are a little bit off it."
Bolton remain unbeaten at the Reebok since their opening home date of the campaign when they came unstuck against Everton.
Levein added: "Bolton's home record speaks for itself, but I feel that it doesn't really matter to us if we play home or away. For some reason, and I don't know why, we seem to be able to cope with playing away from home, especially in cup competitions. Hopefully we can do the same again.
"We have had some difficult tasks away from home and come through them, but this will possibly be the toughest of the lot. I'm not sure what position Charlton were in when we played them in the FA Cup last year, but I don't think they were as high as Bolton are just now in the Premiership. So this will probably be the best team that we have played so far in cup competitions. It will be difficult.
"If we can win it will be a great achievement. But then we will have to get our feet back on the ground ahead of our game against Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday. "
Levein looks set to recall Mark de Vries for the game due to the fact that Iain Hume and Ryan Smith are unavailable. Elvis Hammond and Paul Henderson (both ankle) face late fitness tests ahead of the match, while the Leicester boss has also hinted that Stephen Hughes, Gareth Williams and Dion Dublin could play a part in the game.
Meanwhile, former Fox Ian Walker looks set to start in goal for the home side. The England goalkeeper made 156 appearances for the Foxes over a four-year spell between 2001-2005.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
Team news is vital now for me after just reading this from nufc.com which is a very reliable site.
Quote:
Titus Bramble we believe is out and so a youngster by the name of Alan Shearer is expected to line up in central defence.... No doubt he'll relish dishing out some treatment to the Wigan front line.
If Shearer doesn't play in defence then Amady Faye could be asked to fill in for Bramble leaving Shearer to lead the forward line.
|
Shearer at the back i really wouldn't fancy but it shows how bad Newcastle's defensive problems are just now.
Think i will be avoiding this now if it is Shearer at the back.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
Fuckin hell Newcastle are even worse than I though they were. Hope you're watching this Jesus.
If you are, please spare us the "Newcastle are great" speech this Saturday will you. Especially if they go and fluke this game 1-0 after being under the cosh for 80 minutes.
They're fuckin shite.

Re: Carling Cup 29th/30th
Aye i totally agree ODM. They have been absolute shite. They usually start games like this and are poor in the 1st half and up it 2nd half so here's hoping.
I have my biggest football bet of season on this aswell
They are getting played off the park by Wigan reserves
