Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

Well the hight street prices are out and i can maybe strat getting something together. I could go for a shit or bust change my life special. If i win i can fcuk off to a nice flat and relax and stuff and if i lose then i have to stay where i am and sort it out probably negatively. I would just sleep for weeks.

So. Ladbrokes and Corals both go evens on Arbroath and even though i'd have loved someone to get it so wrong that evens looks ok to me. The 11/10 at Paddy Power is the best i can see. Need to read up a bit more on the performances of both teams but i like the thought of backing arbroath on Sat but im scared a bit as i have a lot to lose and somehthing is saying 2-2 draw to me. A reasonable pick at evens i'd say Arbroath are and i cant see me not being on it. Team news will be interesting mind.

arbroath/arbroath at 12/5 i'll prob take too as i aint shy on this one i think.

Stenny are 7/4 in the shops so again thats another one that im gonna get my teeth into poss so i better get some reading done. Your right mick in Berwick seeming to raise their game v the better sides. I think theyve had a wee bit of luck in them and their performance at Arbroath could be telling the true story. Stenhousemuir have managed to get the results all sason without really showing too much. losing 2 midfielders inc their capt took it out them a bit a while back too. I can see Stenny's season maybe starting in ernest on Sat mick and i will prob be chancing them with my hard earned. actually everything beanie just said on stenhousemuir i meant for non english speaking people.

Queens Pk at 4/5 in ladbrokes that interests me now. I cant see the 'new manager' routine having much effect (famous last words) i'll do my usual warcry on QP 'if Harvey is back then im on them'.

the over 2.5 goals in the alloa ayr game is Even money im lead to belive. I cant see it not being. I'll take that 6/4 on St Mirren at corals no doubt. iI never thought we'd see st mirren at that price again this season. They werent all that when visiting Clyde mind and also this aint raditionally happy hunting grounds for st mirren so i still gotta tread cautiously. Misfiring St J could still get onto my line with that 8/11 ladbrokes price.

Thinking of it thats the third time Raith and dumbarton have met this season so there could be something in that. Truth be told im Dumbarton could be great or shite away and Raith is a hard team to have confidence in. aye infact dumbarton seem a more liklier lot imo. their away form was a worryu before so need to look. Nah its too hard that cone i reckon. too many variables.

Thought Paddy Power only do trebles in the Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division Komp. Disgrace they do anyway, unless that has changed recently.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

Do they Milners? Thats like the middle ages. It doesnt show particular knowledge of the simplest of markets. I hate them now. Fcuking fat $%% Paddy Power. Gives it all the big one on Talksports. Thats TDP and Paddy Power finished. I reckon we change the hotlink word to FAT BASTARD Sorry Paddy but you are. Imo.

(the views of individual members are not necessarily representive of the views of TDP)

Sorry i lost it then Milners. Theyre daft treble rules etc are the reason i still do perms and usually have a pref for aways. Bloody 5 teams req if home included. We'll have older folks coming on saying they remember the days when it was 9 teams req and a wee boy would disappear up an alley with your bet.

Betfred's prices are out and whilst he's got the worst site to navigate his prices are also as skinny as the hair on his head. Nothing to write home about. Im glad really as if i have to go in there theres an old pervert i know who talks to me due to him being slightly related (geordie Green teeth) he's always there. I think its for the biscuits or the mints.

They say in the papers today i believe that Newall has parted company with Eas Stirling and could poss be announced as the new Montrose boss. I think their both pretty bad. Hall seemed to buy a team of shite players. Nah they have Webster, Henslee and others. Kerigan being out is a blow foirthem lately. Gonna see about Harvey for QP.

Im a little worried about the h2h's. Montrose habe lost about 1 game in 5 seasons at QP. Thats an approximation. I dont think QP are any better than last year and its dogy still imo. Montrose on their day could cause probs. Then again they havent been really. They seem to be well beat in games even in games they took a point from. There seemed a bit of hope for them a few games ago but all in their still poor.

Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 1-2 Stenh'semuir 06-08-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 1-3 Berwick 20-08-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 3-1 Albion 27-08-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 3-0 East Stirling 17-09-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 2-2 Arbroath 01-10-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 0-2 Cowdenbeath 25-10-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 3-0 Elgin City 29-10-2005
Scottish Division 3 Queen's Park 2-0 East Fife 26-11-2005

Just the top teams taking points at Hampden. I forget the Arbroath game but thats about when Arbroath started to pick up. I think im gonna leave it. QP's manager Stark thought his team were bloody brilliant second half last week. I think they'll prob go and win but i think i could sit this one out. I'd like to be involved but i got to have some standards.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

im liking Arbroath more and more. Yes theyve won their last 3 games and scored a few goals in them too but what they like away? Their away forum isnt great but it aint too bad and i remember last season when they seemed a better away team. Here's their away games from this year at the end of last season. They were already down i believe before the last game.

Scottish FA Cup Albion 0-1 Arbroath 11-12-2004
Scottish Division 2 Alloa 4-2 Arbroath 18-12-2004
Scottish Division 2 Stirling 0-3 Arbroath 27-12-2004
Scottish Division 2 Morton 2-0 Arbroath 15-01-2005
Scottish Division 2 Berwick 2-3 Arbroath 05-02-2005
Scottish Division 2 Brechin 4-3 Arbroath 09-02-2005
Scottish Division 2 Forfar 1-1 Arbroath 19-02-2005
Scottish Division 2 Stranraer 3-3 Arbroath 12-03-2005
Scottish Division 2 Ayr 2-2 Arbroath 02-04-2005
Scottish Division 2 Alloa 2-2 Arbroath 09-04-2005
Scottish Division 2 Dumbarton 3-0 Arbroath 30-04-2005

They aint that much of a diff team and Elgin arent like the teams they would have visited then. Now they seem to be clicking again i just cant get away from them.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

its pretty bad that Spartans deserved their victory over Berwick. Stenhousemuir can give you a rough ride for your money but i really fancy them to come out on top in this one still. This could be the turning point of the season for them. Just reading up on their latest performances and with McBride and Cramb in fine form i reckon they could have too much for berwick. Saying that didnt Berwick deal with Stenny once before? brb

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

Stenny dont do much winning at Berick last few years-

Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 3-0 Stenhousemuir 10-04-2004
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 2-1 Stenhousemuir 29-11-2003
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 0-0 Stenhousemuir 10-05-2003
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 2-2 Stenhousemuir 28-12-2002
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 2-1 Stenhousemuir 02-03-2002
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 1-1 Stenhousemuir 03-11-2001
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 1-0 Stenhousemuir 17-03-2001
Scottish Division 2 Berwick Rangers 4-1 Stenhousemuir 11-11-2000
Scottish Division 3 Berwick Rangers 2-1 Stenhousemuir 16-01-1999

It's gonna be tight isnt it? All ive really got left is St Mirren to look at. I think Arbroath is gonna be my only real bet this weekend.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

Reading that Greacen might be missing from Morton's defence. thats a blow but i like the sound of how theyve changed formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 and thats repeaded benifits in the last 3 games. It will be the new formations hardest task yet. Partick are missing a couple of defenders but they say that possibly is a good thing as theyll have to play players in their proper positions. Partick are unbeaten away from home this season i think too. Gonna be tight but im a bit tempted by Morton. Nah i aint.

Dumbarton are still missing Dempsie from defence which aint good for them. Im still sitting that one out. I really dont like div 2 this week.

That's the problem with Berwick innit Komp? Go through their performances against all the lesser sides and they struggle a hell of a lot. Then they meet Stenhousemuir and Cowdenbeath in top form and manage to see them off. That's the only thing troubling me but I do think I'd take the 2.75 for Stenny @ Skybet - Cowdenbeath should have got a draw at least in that 1-0 loss at Berwick and I suspect Stenhousemuir have the firepower to get something, hopefully a win. I won't be surprised if Berwick step up a gear again though.

East Stirling just sacked their manager Newell.

Did see that Stenhousemuir record which is rather poor, but Berwick does have major injuries a few weeks ago i just wonder if they are still there. Taking it so far as my outsider, unless i see any other reason to pick another team.

I've just heard through one of the Aberdeen forum's that Kenny Black and Davie Roberston have left Elgin and most of the players are on strike due to not getting paid. Also all of the young players will be leaving.

All rumour but i think i will be getting up very early tomorrow to buy the P&J to find out if true.

Sah-weet. Arbroath @ 2.00 Stan James Coral Centrebet exactly what I was hoping for. Ok, we're still waiting on Arbroath getting that first away win but those 13 goals in their last 3 matches (all at home mind) are a great confidence booster. I know Elgin are difficult but they only ever seem to play in small patches and Arbroath already with a 2-0 win over them mid October. Looking good and I'm not paying a great deal of notice to Elgin's 2-2 with Berwick as Berwick had that coming.

Bad thing is if true than this could be the end for Elgin City.

Jesus 6:40 and i'm up to buy a p&j!!! I'm normally wake up in another 2 hrs. I'm going to be well tired today. Mr Chips had a bit on betfair about Scotscoup (NE bookie) selling his shares to Black or Robertson. Check how much has been matched on betfair nearly £6,000 compared to about £200 the most in other division 3 games.

Check http://www.thisisnorthscotland.co.uk...sNodeId=149223

www.elgincity.com still not updated and forum taken off before the EGM!!!.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd division - 3rd December

i hate that Milners. Ive got work at 6pm tonight and will need to sleep.Got a million things to do before i do though (cds and stuff) and even then ive got to get to the estate agents to put in some referances Still carpets and warm rooms await me. I'll be doing mad stuff like getting up and having a shower even though i aint going out that day I'll have coffee and walks to the bookies.

10/11 is the best price on Arbroath now. I do so hope the paper coupons came out in the shops yesterday. They should have. Fat Paddy Powers have went 11/10 to 10/11 the big feartie Man U supporter. He's a big balloon (my gran says)

I bet your away for a scuddy book Milners Nah no need since the net. I havent bought a book since i got online. Javid in my local shop doesnt know the cash winfall he missed out on especially with 2 top shelves. I still browse for old times sake and sometimes miss going to bed with a Splash Mag. Aye maybe i'll join you Milners and get some Swank in again.
