Arse. There was a book on that as well...can't remember what the price for him to go before the seasons out...

It's a joke isn't it. Might look into Alfreton as Kettering's results have been piss poor of late (see Barrow at the weekend) and 2/1 could be IMO a very backable price....

Cheers mate, I went straight away and checked around last night and found the 11/10 and whacked 2pts straight on, must admit I'm slightly surprised they're not odds-on everywhere. There looks like draw possibilities with Harrow's home record of 2-5-1 but crucially the one loss was against an inform Hampton side, inform much like Braintree are now. Almost any odds above evens on an inform team like Braintree are worth taking IMO.

Quite possible bromsgrovegreen. Was mulling that over on the way into work. Managerless or someone else, I'd probably like the 1X, but he was very well regarded there so I don't think it's that clear cut... Reckon the punters will pile on Alfreton though since Gascoigne's gone and push the odds up on Kettering at all?

Re: Midweek Non League - 5th/6th Dec

Just getting my not-so "short" list together for the weekend and a fixture in the Southern prem has escpaed my attention.

Chippenham to beat Gloucester City 6/4 Bet365

Chippenham 5th and Gloucester 18th. 11 points between the teams with Chippenham having played three less games...

A quick perusal of Gloucester's recent games doesn't impress me much. They're 3/3/3 at home with the wins coming against struggling Chesnut, northwood and Rugby. They were turned over by Cirencester, Mangoes and Kings Lynn and also drew their last home game with struggling Alyesbury.

One of their sites has this to say about the game:

"City did well to earn a point this afternoon against perennial party-poopers Aylesbury United. The surprisingly struggling Ducks dominated play pretty much throughout the game but were unable to turn their dominance into chances whilst the Tigers enjoyed bright spells which saw them bring the best out of opposing number one Jack Rashid on two or three occasions."

Chippenham town went 13 games unbeaten untill very recently when they were dumped out of the Trophy to Carshalton. They haven't won in 5 games but played Conf North side Worcester twice and narrowly went out the FA cup. They lost on Saturday at home to 3rd place Bedford town but apparently had 2 key midfeilders missing (1 of who is back tonight - plus a new striker)

"Chippenham Town have Signed striker Nathan Bailey on non contract terms. - he has recently been released from Reading. The move is expected to be short term, as FGR are interested in the player. He is expected to be in the squad for tonights game at Gloucester.Darren Perrin was "disappointed with Saturday and the bulk of the performance, plenty of opportunities that a couple of months ago would have been buried" he added ." Bedford are a good side though, and worth noting that they were third in the league. Our position is still strong, and we are still looking to boost our squad, but will not be rushed into any signing."

On tonights game a, he told us "Gloucester are looking stronger at the moment, with just one defeat in six league games, its an intimidating place to go, so we're expecting a tough game, it would be great if the supporters can turn up and get behind us. Gary Thorne is doubtful, whilst Mark Badman returns from suspension""

For me 6/4 at Bet 365 is an attractive proposition and I'll be having 2 points on it.

GL All,

Nope 1-1 draw.

Braintree lost 1-0 though to a 90th minute goal...

Nice call on Chippenham AMP - guess SkyBet's 2 was about right and Bet365 got caught with their
