Some short prices there alright. Muff should batter WSM but i'd want 1/2. Maybe a nice double with Grays would be the way to go...

I was reading up on Kettering away to Alfreton last week and at that price I could be well tempred on Kettering. I'm away to have a quick look into the above.

I could easily find myself on Grays and Braintree bandwagon.

Grays shouldn't need explaining, whereas Braintree continued their imperious recent form with a victory over title favourites Fisher. With this being one of thier games in hand I'm sure they'll be keen to keep going. Opponents Harrow lost 3-1 @ Walton & Hersham at the weekend (and I thank them for it). Would prefer closer to evens though perhaps that's a tad too much to ask.

Folkestone Invicta v Hendon

Definitely a close match between two of the poorer sides in Ryman Premier division. Both lurking in the bottom half of the table and are pretty inconsistent. Last weekend, Invicta lost to fellow strugglers Windsor whilst Hendon bt hopeless Redbridge 2-0.

A close affair that most wouldn't put a bet upon but I've got a feeling Hendon will sneak this one. Star striker Eugene Ofori is on top form right now and he could make all the difference.

FYI - Hendon have also recently signed 3 players, a defender (on loan from Braintree), a midfielder and striker.

Didn't Ofori sign for Braintree? *goes off to check*

frodo,

Evens at skybet.

11/10 Stan James on Braintree.

I could well be on for a small interest as the Ryman league ****'s me right off at times. I'm still smarting from Bromley at the w/e....

Looking at tomorrows fixtures, only two really stand out for me - Weymouth and Worthing.

Re: Midweek Non League - 5th/6th Dec

SA,

If Weymouth draw / win tomorrow they'll be a few of us on here tipping their virtual pint glasses to each other because they'll be top of the league.

However, in my opinion 1/3 is an absolute joke of a quote and leaves me questioning if the bookies have got any balls whatsoever. True, WSM have been poor of late and Weymouth awesome at home (As you probably know I backed Weymouth and Havant to beat WSM on Saturday for profit). Reading the match report / forums WSM didn't play too badly and made a real game out of it before going down 3-2.

I expect Weymouth to win but I'm not backing at that price on general principal.

i'll give Braintree two points as 11/10 at Stan James as bet365 only go 8/11!!!

Harrow haven't won for 7 and as mentioned Braintree are in good form and have won 4 in 6 on thir travels. i'd be tempted for 3 points but I hate the Ryman!!!!

Re: Midweek Non League - 5th/6th Dec

I'm not sure about the Folkstone game tonight. I agree two poor sides with average records. However Folkstone are very much a home side which affects their last 6 stats as most have been away games recently, the last home game being a 3-0 win over Slough. Hendon seem to be inconsistent both home and away

I've not been round the forums or homepages yet for any team news etc. Will try to do this a bit later.

At the moment a no-bet for me.

Looks like I'm the only one putting full faith in Hendon tonight.

Only a tiny tiny amount placed though so not gonna lose any sleep over it....

Re: Midweek Non League - 5th/6th Dec

H2H Angel, Hendon won both last season 0-1 at Folkestone and 2-1 at thier place.

As Krider has mentioned its FI home form and in particular Dryden who scored a hattrick vs Slough last week, which has them kept them alive so far.

Think I might have a small amount of FI. I might even pop along and have a watch, wearing my bestest white of course.
