Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd Division 17th December

Bloody hell its snowing in Daily Punt website and also snowing in Aberdeen with quite a bit of snow lying on the deck (a bit like petrov!!!). I very much doubt whether the peterhead match will go ahead with reported temperatures of -2 tonight.

I am taking Hamilton at a decent price of 2.3 to win a home vs Ross County. Alot of ex Clyde players here who always used to turn County over. Visitors aint scored in two games either and Gardener Spears talking about changing front line for this one. Accies good at home this season too

Sorry for not being active more often, but somehow, whatever I find, someone has already mentioned it here
So just a few thoughts, sometimes, I feel we miss some games good for taking money, while trying to dig some deep info on some highly dubious ones :drums

Looking at the card, well, whats wrong with East Fife to beat Elgin? Take some money, and leave Arbroath and the likes to sort out their form

That is very true. I bet all of us have given some thought to Rangers/Hearts or Chelsea/Arsenal ... but will pass over say Fulham/Blackburn or (as you say) Elgin/East Fife.

Re: Scottish 1st/2nd/3rd Division 17th December

Right, I think I might have a go with Arbroath @ 2.00 Bet365 (betbase had it as 2.20 )

From BBC:
Quote:
Arbroath v Queen's Park
Arbroath are without suspended defender Paul Watson for the visit of Queen's Park in Division Three.

Queen's Park midfielder Ross Clark is a doubt with a hip injury that forced him off at half-time during Tuesday's victory over East Stirlingshire.

Richard Sinclair, Jonny Whelan and Andy McGinty have all returned to training but remain sidelined along with John Weir, Paul Harvey and Richard Bowers.

So young midfielders Paul Cairney and Paul McClory are included in the squad.
Good home record Arbroath have and from what I recall reading of Queens Park (I know Komp didn't agree) they don't sound great to me on their travels. Arbroath is a hard place to go at the best of times but it's been particularly windy in this area of late so maybe even a little harder than usual.

Last 10 matches Arbroath have actually scored more goals than Stenhousemuir - F21 A10 - I like. And as I said, I like their home record: W5 D1 L2 F18 A9 - only slightly behind the home record of the top 3. I know Queens Park are generally tough as hell away from home (on paper): 2 defeats and only 5 conceded but I don't think they've been overly impressive performance wise. Take away that horrible 2-0 defeat at Elgin and Arbroath are going along rather well.

Worth a shot although when I started writing this I thought they were @ 2.20 - a toughy @ evs but I'll try it.

Edit: Bet365 now have them @ 2.10

The Bet365 price on Arbroath seems all over the place! As Montrose is off I have nw taken Ayr United instead won 4out their last 5 and seem to score quite a lot also
