This is what has been said in the other thread to save anyone going back in for a read...

4.50 looks a little too generous there and I'll be interested to see how the exchanges/handicap prices sort themselves out later this week.

Dunfermline have not lost in the last 5 v United, and after a more solid performance v Aberdeen last week should be a bit more positive heading into this.

As Kiko mentions a draw is a decent shout too, so tomorrow I'll look at the possibility of a handicap Dunfermline bet, or more precisely a lay of United at a fairly short price.

I definately think its a game to avoid but if your interested then the value lies with Dunfermline i think, thats for sure. X2 would probably be the safest thing mind.

As mentioned Dunfermline seem to have a good record against United and would anyone have the balls to back United odds on?

I certainly wouldn't as they are such an inconsistent side. Against your Rangers, Hearts and Celtic they will put in great performances and kid on their fans that they are a good side only to go and drop points against the far weaker sides the following week.

They have some good players in their team but things just don't seem to be working for them with Chisholms position looking like coming under threat with their poor results.

Dunfermline have been picking up performance wise in recent weeks and don't they need it after being caught up in a relegation fight.

Young brothers are near fully fit now and the extra days will have done them some good to touch up on a few things.

If pushed id give one of the following bets a shot...

Dunfermline X2 @ 1.9 Sporting odds
Dunfermline DNB @ 3.00 Bet 365

bloody hell i thought the home was where it was at. Good stuff kiko and cheers mate. You all sure? I thought Dundee utd at home at this time of year v this level of team was usually a gallant performance by them and a home win. I dont know i just thought that way. Im a little shocked that everyone likes the away

Dundee Utd v Dunfermline
Dundee United have Grant Brebner and Peter Canero back to full fitness, the pair having been doubtful for the original match scheduled for Saturday.
Barry Robson has a gashed knee but takes his place in the squad, while David Fernandez has overcome a bout of food poisoning.

Dunfermline captain Scott Thomson has recovered from fractured ribs, while Mark Burchill is also fit again.

Scott Morrison and Yannick Zambernardi are still out injured

Re: Dundee Utd v Dunfermline Tue 20th Dec

Dunfermline are poor but so was United when i watched them in fact Dundee Utd was the worst team i've seen at Pittodrie this season and thats saying something. Rumours about their manager getting the sack and Jefferies coming in must be unsettling and also this food posioning thing which if Dunfermline players believe then they might be well up for this game. Dundee Utd only 2 wins this season at home and Dunfermline 5 defeats in 9 games. This season result was 2-1 to dunfermline. Last season games at tannadice was both won by Dunfermline. Last 10 games Head to heads at Dundee utd ground is 6-0-4 and last 10 games is 2-2-6 and Dunfermline haven't lost to Dundee Utd in the last 5.

Dunfermline starting to get some of their players back from injury but United by the looks of it has everyone back fit that wouldn't have been if it was played on saturday.

I'm going to go small lay on Dundee utd on betfair.
