PROBLEMS MOUNT FOR QUINS

Quins' Gareth Elliott - on his way to Haverfordwest?
CARDIFF Grange Quins' defender and coach Terry Evans has completed a move to Newport County.
The financially-troubled capital outfit are also set to lose club captain Gareth Elliott, who is poised to join Haverfordwest County. The 22-year old defender was previously with Barry Town and Merthyr Tydfil.
Problems mount for Quins, who face a fine from the Welsh Premier for again failing to produce a match programme.

Re: Llanelli v Grange Quins

I noticed they'd removed it traeth. All very odd but I recall them getting a few Irish fixtures wrong in the past. I'm happy with the 1.72

Shock for Quins as boss Mal walks out Dec 21 2005

Terry Phillips, South Wales Echo

Mal Camilleri has sensationally quit as manager of Grange Quins, writes Terry Phillips.

He has left the club after only four Vauxhall MasterFit Welsh Premier League games in charge, saying: 'I can no longer work with chairman David Pinches.'

Quins moved swiftly to appoint former Bridgend Street, Rhayader, Grange Athletic and Llanelli coach Gary Proctor as their new manager, although he will not take charge until their League clash with Cwmbran Town over Christmas.

He was unable to take over immediately due to family commitments.

Tonight, when Quins play Llanelli at Stebonheath Park (7.30pm), Steve May and Micky Tanetta will be in charge of team matters.

Proctor is a third manager this season for cash-strapped Quins, who have lost many first choice players and are sliding towards trouble after conceding 22 goals in their last four matches.

Camilleri took over from Paul Giles, who left as cash problems bit hard, but was furious after Quins' 4-1 defeat at home to Connah's Quay Nomads.

Camilleri was told Pinches had approached Proctor and other managers about taking over at Grange Quins, saying: 'I cannot work with the chairman any longer. I have been with Quins for two and a half years running the under-19 and under-21 teams plus helping Paul Giles with the first team.

'I have given the club everything and felt I wasn't being treated properly.'

Camilleri, 40, is a former Grangetown Boys Club player who later managed Maesteg Park. Pinches today said: 'Gary Proctor and others rang me, putting themselves forward for the job. I told Mal he was Quins manager, but he decided to resign.

'My sole aim is to ensure Cardiff Grange Quins finish this season and they will do that.'

Tonight, against Llanelli, coaches May and Tanetta have the same squad on duty against Connah's Quay except for Terry Evans, who has now signed for Newport County.

Re: Llanelli v Grange Quins

Aye theres still the small matter of Llanelli still having to win traeth but getting 1.83 on a 1.30 shot would make me feel like a winner Traeth. good luck mate

Re: Llanelli v Grange Quins

I doubled it with my over 2.5 cards bet from the other night (free money that was I tells ye) so I'm waiting on these buggers for a 2.7 double. I was pretty slow in getting on though as I replied to traeth straight away.
