gonna go for a wee lie down as the daily punt is slow for my 56k at the mo. Brechin, St J, Hamilton, peterhead, partick, morton and montrose could be interesting to me.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 Christmas Party Thread 24/26th Dec

just a few i fancy and i hope Santa bookies/exchanges give me loads of presents of the cash type.

Nothing again in divison 1, second division i like the look of 3 games - Partick at evens at home is tempting although Stirling are on form but i do like the look of Partick. Morton at 4/7 from Skybet is tempting although slighty worried about Andy McLean wanting to leave them and according to their fans he is the best player. Next up is Dumbarton to beat Ayr - they have been really unlucky in the last lot of games and i feel its a matter of time when they will win - all they need is a bit of luck upfront - 9/5 is quite nice but i'll be happy if i can get 2/1.
Down to the 3rd division, i like is Arbroath to beat Albion as i feel they are due a win soon but i don't like this price much so i might stay away from that. Stenhousemuir might tempt a few at 8/11 mmm not sure. Montrose looks slighty massive at Elgin with all Elgin problems with youth and management problems.

Bit of research on the other games anyway just incase there is something i miss about this weekend card.

Stirling's form is bloody way too good to consider Partick imo. Frightening. I'd be willing to consider Stirling actually. I wouldn''t have a great deal of confidence in Morton either. I agree St Johnstone, Hamilton and Peterhead will be worth a look though. And Montrose. Ooooo, I don't usually have this many I want to look at at first glance.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 Christmas Party Thread 24/26th Dec

I thought you'd think it madness for me to consider Partick Mick. Thing is i really dont rate Stirling's form and again on Sat it seems as if every time they kicked the ball it went in the net at Ayr. Dont get me wrong Partick didnt play well v Alloa but i think they'll be up for this one.

Brechin is another team ive been keeping an eye on. aye they have a terrible record and cant win for love nor money but again on Saturday they gave Airdrie a game (first half at least) and again due to bad finishing and a bit of bad luck they were out for the count. Clyde i like but they're no where near 2/5 shots imo.

Raith couldnt score in an inner city disco even if they were buying all the BlueWK all night. I think Morton will rip them apart and should be on easy street for ht. Arbroaths away record still worries me a bit and the long grass of Albion. I think they were well beaten last time at albion though they might have nicked a point. Need to check.

Will Cowdenbeath's passing game come unstuck at East Stirling? Airdrie havent been beaten by dundee this season i think and Dumbarton will be up for it at Ayr. Aye loads to look at this week and im looking forward to it all. Just hope we get a full card with the weather.

....can you stop the calvary?

St Johnstone's home record is more impressive than I thought too: W5 D4 L1 F19 A8 - 2nd top home scorers which surprised me as I associate them with NOT bloody scoring. Very tight at the back last 10 also. Aye. It's definitely on my list.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 Christmas Party Thread 24/26th Dec

ah hah i forgot about the Peterhead game. They're almost top of my xmas list too especially if sanat brings them a few of their experienced players back. Alloa last week just proved how bad their defence is after Partick let them take the lead twice and still lost

Alloa 4 Peterhead 1

Thistle 0-0 Stirling

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 Christmas Party Thread 24/26th Dec

Dear Santa,

Can i have better odds on Morton please. All the wee Victor chandler and skybet children are getting 4/7 and im stuck with 1/2. Give me 4/7 and i'll have a nice big single on it. Nah i'll have a wee double. I would like evcens on st John but the 5/6 does me fine. Peterhead i expect to get even money on so come on Santa sort it out. Berwick i could have at 5/4 if Cowan and co are back and Smart is still out for East Fife. Likewise i'll take your 4/5 on Stenhousemuir if Harvey is still out.

thanks
