Well you shouldnt have made me have to get rid of all my rss forums. It's all your fault that i'm in the revolutionise TDP forums now. I wasnt going to bring these upon you but heh what the heck lets do it. Slick can get his special bet forum with no comebacks even though people made sure it was their business to tell me that on no circumtances should i be opening and closing forums and that Sepcial Bet Forum was just a plain ridiculas idea. I'm away to open the floodgates and if you don't like it then tell me here. I want to know why you dont like it though. I want to know why people with an interest in these sports have no where to go to casually talk about their fav sport and i dont want to hear 'but we have a Other sports' forum. Others sports is a wide subject and only those that cant be arsed building up forums will object to them in the 'not needed way'

Anyhow it's been mentioned to me also that 'i should wait for the football season to finish' before even starting the front page (and now this no doubt) Let me remind folks that TDP doesnt revolve around English football the scottish season is over in effect and the aussie one aint even begun for some. We're hardly a hotbed of info on English football either as the amount of replies on the English threads each week suggests. yes we have some good posters but that doesnt make up for all the non posters and uninterest in there all season. I only do as i like TDP to be constantly moving forward. Once i get back on the forums i'll get people in and i'll keep them here too.

Right i'm away to sort out the eurovision competition and i'll leave you all with the proposed (by me only) new forums. It's good to talk.

Right the forum intros are a bit large as i believe i was trying to put 'selling' notes on them all. They off course will be shortened and also the ones we shortened before will get bigger again.

Please comment on these forums ONLY if you regularly bet on the sports added or have an interest in them. If you don't bet on these sports then i don't think you have any right o deny those that do a place to go on the net where they can spread out a bit and enjoy the chat and betting suggestions.

If then you all still think that all the sports should be clubbed together in one forum where there is no encouragement for someone to post up seemingly 'trivial' betting information. also please don't tell me that 'we already have a forum to talk about sports chat' as from memory the Talk Sports forum is frequented by about 10 people and was mainly football based.

Horse and dog racing should be on its own as it's a seperate entity imo from general sports betting. you will get a man who will bet a horse but has no interest in sports betting. If it wasn't for Sky tv and Surrey sports etc then this forum would probably have Horse and dog racing at the top of it.

I moved the bet discussion forum up as ..welll thats what we are a BETTING DISCUSSION forum and that forum gets used about once a week with people rather to talk about betting in General Chat where upon 90% of the people in there don't bet

Since these new changes my security software now has the site as safe but the site's safety certificate doesn't match the site name. God knows what this means and why my PC throws this up but it's only on this site. I like how the forums are now. Glas R2R is more prominent again as this is my fave forum.

I think ive sorted that security thing out Samuel but i'll get slick to double check it all. I am glad that you like the forums as they are now too Samuel and i won't comment on the R2R forum. Horses for courses.

I know folks will be saying 'but will these forums be busy' etc and i know exactly where you are coming from on this point. To me all you need is one or 2 regulars in to begin with, a good mod, some hard work and a wee bit of time.

Basher you not want to take over the Golfing helm? Im easy to work for really especuially on new things as i tend to just let folks get on with things. Other forum matters i can be a shit as i try and be as unemotional about things as i can and doing things for the benefit of the forum and it's members over myself and the other mods personal likes and dislikes.

Anyhow we'll sort lal this out. If someone does have particuarly strong objections to it all then tell me in the next day or so as if you dont i'll have all these forums officially opened.

ps mods it's about as much news to Mick and Slick as it is to you. this isnt a n act of flipancy ive just not had the time. Again i would like to see arguements against it from those that bet on the sports involved.

well and maybe i was a bit pissed off about people's only concern being that bloody New Posts list. If all you do is use the new posts list then the look of the forum aint gonna affect you. the only people objecting will be those with a fear of trying

Just remember that folks when you see forum headers shortened then extended again, posts appearing on New Posts lists & then not, new forums etc

Whats folks thoughts on moving the who's online and stats from the bottom of the forum to the top? Does anyone ever really use this? I do i have to admit.

I use it sometimes, but there's no way I'd put it at the top of the page. Makes it look like you think that's the most important thing you've got to announce. It's good to have on the front page, but I'd leave it where it is.

Cool RC thanks. I'll look into getting it on frontpage. We have one for the front page but ive a feeling it actually only shows people that are opn the frontpage. I'll look into it
