Just to mention that you can still access the old style forum through the theme changer bottom right of forum. The new theme has a lot of tidying up to be done but it's usuable. The top menu thing i think Slick's planning something with Ive never seen it before. It's on the old forum too.
Anyhow i'll work slowly on it as the day goes on. I forget what else i was gonna mention but im sure i will remember as the day goes on. any questions or problems or suggestions etc feel free to add them here.
actuall i might sort them menu bars and add some links etc too them. I need to put the sub forums back down the bottom as we need that space for the new banner/links ive been adding. No idea why they aint showing on the new theme but i'll go find out.
Ah that was it as mentioned in Gen Chat the moderator column is causing a few probs but it will be back. I'll speak to Slick about it later.
aYE SOZ rICK. i'VE ASKED ON A FORUM ON HOW TO ooops i was in HEADLINE mode there to add to that bit. Thats why i need to set something as default for now and work on it as its pointless me doing it to the old forum for now till i can get the new skins up to date. I'll sort it this morning Rick. Hoping to get a lot done and then thats it. I think i started this about 11pm last night. Believe it or not i have actually got a lot done. Ive used the old buttons for timesake the now. I just tried to replicate the old forum as much as i could. Maybe another skin would be more like the old skin and i will get another one done for the weekend. I just want to have something up. I took in all i could form what folks have mentioned (odm - not too wide) (Winrew & others - Galaxy theme) if there's anything anone has said to me then say here. Obvioulsy i won't be able to make everyone happy but i shall try. Dont forget folks you can still choose the old style theme if things are all a bit much for you to handle (theme changer bottom right of this page (and all the pages)
Slick is it possible to remove that extra top navbar for now? I think we could live without it and make more of the other 2 menus
I suppose we could make that for 'partner' stes and go looking for some prime spots on other sites. Once thats done that will be another job done and one step closer to bloody finishing this place
I'll put the Moderator box back on for you all to see the efect at 09:30 say. There will be ways around it. Also Slick could we have posts and threads coloums back on Old Style when you get a chance.
BAH IT'S REALLY HArd (oops banner mode) to make banners. Well it's easy but it's hard to make something good. I'm ok when it doesn't have to suggest any form of seriousness.
