I was hoping it would shut u up for a while

Any problems on the install will just be parts of files missing from when the ftp kept cutting out when i was upping them, so u may need to overwrite those files or just leave the error messages in here and i'll do it.

I'll go and shove the ftp details in management as i've changed the ip since i posted the last set.

Komp have u been diddling with the fp as its now gone and chucking up the error..

I never touched it slick. I ha a look at the cpanel and was in awe of all the extra features. I thought it best to leave. i dont need a tinker. i even never insytalled the homepages.

oh ps slick did you change the abxolute paths in the frontend config? I suppose you must have. This is all gonna be great when it's done. 2 weeks i reckon we'll have things in place. Then thats it. We'll have the best place on the net. Then it's all down to getting folks in and getting folks posting again. My hands were tied and i couldnt bear to work with the tools that i had been given. Now we seem to be moving the right way and hen it's all done i can relax a bit and folks can tell me 'aye you were right komp this is great. it's so good that TDP has someone so forward thinking as you steering us in the right direction regarding forum hosting and the software involved etc'

I never changed any paths and the fp was working fine, maybe it had something to do with the eaccelerator install as it seemed to happen not long after that.

I'll reup the joomla files later on and see if that works, if not we could be looking at a fresh install which wouldent be too bad as then we can tie it in to the tdp database once more instead of having an independant one now we seem fast enough.

seems slow again to me. like the bad old days. Never fear about Front page mick. the last 6 months have just been training for this. If it makes you feel any better i deleted 3 solid whole weeks work on daabl the other day. everything is deleteable. Truth be told if we aint got absolute paths in the cofig frontend then it was never gonna work. If you could post up the new absolute paths for us somewhere though slick i'll go and change it and see if the index page is working.
