Right im getting there. Just been speaking with the server folks (fcuk TDP runs at a loss the amount of money we're paying them ) and theyve sorted a few things out. Ive managed to create 2 blogs and all the urls look and act fine. Just a small problem of them redirecting to the main blog page. Im onto that the now and im hoping that i have it all set up before i leave my work at 11am-ish. We could be bet blogging tonight. Ive got a wee thing there that lets us add custom fields to posts (bets) im gonna have a wee play with that and try and get it nice and easy for folks to keep a record of their bets. only prob is the adding it all up but ill get onto that in the next few weeks.

once we move forums i will work on the front directory for the blogs. till then we'll just have a forum and a thread within it where folks can post their blogs. feel free to add a link to your blogs in your posts (betting posts) for now till i work out how to get it linked better. I mean all this when we get it up and runnign but as i say im confident of getting it open to us all before 11. then im gonna get drunk and upload loads of templates and plugins.

We have already added the entries you specified in the httpd.conf file. There can be a propagation delay of 12-24 hours for DNS changes. DNS changes needs 12-24 hours to come in to full effect. That is why you are not seeing the new blog posts. We request you to wait for the next 12-24 hours. If you are still facing the issue even after this time period, please update us.

In the mean time you can check the URL using the command line browser 'lynx'. For this follow the steps below.

1.Login to server
2. From the shell issue the command
lynx http://kompressaur.thedailypunt.com/sites/

There you will be able to see your updated blogs.
Please check the same from your end and let us know if we can assist you further in this regard.

well i think ive done all i can do. ive learnt a few new things which will help me in future and i got a little familiar with our new backend. im pretty confident that these blogs will just appear as the day goes on. right i need to get he front end in order and then look at moving forums

nah im drunk slick soz. these blogs better 'propogate' whilst im sleeping. all ok there slick. Look at the cofig file odf the front end slick. no offence to mick but im all for a complete reinstall as mick doesnt understand that 6 or 7 new new installes are nothing. ive had a million mate and i just put it down to experiance. Its ok as mick can use this as an excuse to lie in bed with his new woman and we wont fault him for it. He was my joomla apprentice my prodegy btw (fcuk he'll be seething if he sees this)

details are in management, those links u gave are propogating for me m8 and i can see the wp pages without a problem.
