Help needed

i see now how folks are making the sigs slick. I thought it would be easy enough to just make a text field input box for them instead of the full wysiwyg editor. Just like that Feed thing but not the feed thing. suppose it works your way though. I just wanted to give folks less options as well you will be thinking yourself. I couldnt see anything that done something that simple though. Makes me think it's just something really simple thats so simple its fell under the radar of vb hacks. no one ever replied to me on it. Anyhow we'll see how this goes. I'll leave it with you slick and start thinking about what hapens after its in. It's all about weighing up the trwo otions above and hearing what the mods and TDP regulars think now.

I just thought that when Slick said Sigs to you, you thought cigs and cigs could = girls in a james bond type way and he carries a gun and you then put it all together as girls with guns. Just a stab in the dark Napoleon

ive taken my link out the errr original link field slick and its made all the links disappear even though sigs is clicked to yes. i dont see yours or Napoleon's link anymore. I added my poker name to the website field. maybe thats something to do with it. if it fixes it i will come back and say

ah its come back for me now too George. Slick i would maybe look at removing the 'Add your website' field in OPTIONS as that seems to be screwing it up for me.

George did you have to click, view sigs to see the links? Maybe we could at worst just let any new person see the links as default

good stuff slick does exactlly what we need. As i dsay if we could look at making the edit box just a simple text box that would solve a lot of probs for us. All the upload images (not working) and the code tags etc would be a pain as you know. Just need to look at the show sig thingy. Easy to make as default from now on in but ideally everyones would be defaulted to on. could we run a db query or something poss? shit i forgot your on the case slick i know you have it all in hand.

I'll go look at adding the TDP Username field to the add link form. dont worry about the mess of frontpage im just looking at something

i added the sig backend slick to ODM's signature box in his profile and his link is unclickable
