k cool merlin thanks. Well if were on your FP then you need to be on our FP too. i'll add it there and in the review forum. I wont fdo the fp yet though as im gonna hvae to go and work on the fp taking into account of the advice you gave us earlier in the thread. You want to keep your main page as clean as you can - and concentrate on your main theme, and key words....have intro's, links and paragraphs on other stuff, sure...
I notice that your concentrating quite a bit on poker, and it is something which is gonna get more popular online than it already is....especially new guys coming into gambling...
You should think about having a subdomain for the poker related stuff...as opposed to a directory...
It sure as hell wont hurt you to try it on one aspect (like poker)...Sub domains work very much in your favour, coz their are considered seperate domains from your main page...
Something which has worked well for me in the past, and you should consider it (especially for your football forums)... is to have subdomains OR directories in a different language - this will give you a GREAT ADVANTAGE over other fottball forums.... because you will appear (in time) in searches of the native tongue...
You shout target a football introduction page for the following languages: (only one page needed)...
ITALIAN
SPANISH
GERMAN
RUSSIAN
FRENCH
PORTUGUESE

I like the language idea Merlin. aye brill. what i need to do is get some kind of language re-writer for the subdomains and then feed the forums into the subdomains in whatever language. Or else make it just one page as you suggest Merlin. Maybe my whole domain might be better though and cewrtainly easier for me as i wont have to write anything. I will look at that in a bit.
we have a poker subdomain Merlin but thats just got poker offers on it. The beauty of the frontpage blogs (subdomains) is that i can make up seperate blogs for each subdomain. Im only concentrating on poker Merlin as its all ive been doing for the past 6 months really so i just add things i see as i go. I suppose poker articles etc will go with the poker bonuses. Im just trying to scrub clean the frontpage and start fro scratch again. I did tell folks who could have helped me when i made it up originally that i have no clue what im doing and i needed a hand. Alsa a week's work for nothing. Longer maybe. Still as long as its getting done proper now i dont mind. Im sure mick will say it was done proper a year ago and i would agree but it hasnt been for 6 months now and still isnt

With the language pages you want to keep it simple - dont go complicating things , as in this case and for the purpose , simple is best...
You only need one football inttoduction page written in English, use that as a template, and get the the translations done...
It will work better as a static html page, keyword rich - its only a legitimate doorway into the main site.....
Dont go mixing english words on the other language pages (some are unavoidable for sure in the html etc).... but you dont need feeds or anything...just a simple static html ....
