The old forum still has all the new forums on it Winrew and ...actually it needs tabs to work. Im sorry you all dont like it. If you want to go to PL then please do folks. All i ask is that you can bear with us folks.

Previously there was the option to click on the "+" sign and close down the sections you didn't use, so you never had to scroll down all that far (well you didn't unless you use absolutely all the forums), and you had the advantage of having all the forums you actually wanted on the same page. Now you have to actively go looking for them.

People find that harder to do than they will with the Tabs RC. Infact they just dont know how to do it. The tabs are great (well they wlll be) and again you'll all be wondering why folks even complained. Im sorry that some of you like your forums 1999 style but sadly in this ever changing internet we have to offering that bit more and this way we shall.

Regarding the old forum skin etc Winrew im sure that we can sort something so as we can all be happy. this has been going on for weeks folks and then you all decide to comment now. Im sorry we will get it fixed and you will like it.

sorry folks Slick can't fix it the now and thus that depresses me as i know that it plays into the 'don't fcuk about with TDP'crowd. Im away to do the frontpage. As i say i havent been bothered with the content of the forum for months whilst i finiosh all this up. Now you see what its like for me. everyday i come here the place looks a mess and unfinished. I'll see you all Monday if your still here

well I like the tabs.

you can get away without them if you have a small number of folders, but once it gets large (beyond about 10-15 IMO), you're going to be scrolling all day without them

For sure Doc and thats why the tabs work. It lets us do as we please. It's always the same with this bunch. You just can't run anything by them. Ive been talking about tabs for weeks in here for no one to mention. Suddenly everyone has an opinion on them. I knew this would happen though when they werent working right. Wait you see them in full effect doc. bloody gorgeous. the Poker Forum is ...just like a real poker forum

The trouble with that though, Komp, is that any time you post your ideas on these kind of things, you post mini-novels, not to mention about a dozen posts in a row in reply to yourself, and it makes it impossible to keep up and read everything you say unless you have a spare few hours. That, and the fact that it's often difficult to give an opinion on something until you see it implemented.

Before it was up, no offence, but I really couldn't be arsed to read through all your countless posts on the subject, and I didn't have a particularly clear idea what you were going to do. Now I've seen it, I've given my opinion on it, that's all. As I've said, it doesn't affect me, so I'm not complaining, purely an opinion. It seems there are quite a few people in favour of it, so if that's the case then great

and i appreciate your thoughts RC. I wasnt including you in all this and i was just trying to make light of the situation. You should see me on vbulletin forums. they tell me to 'fcuk the lot of you' and i say 'i can't'

all i ask folks is that you let us get them in and working and im sure you'll agree that they are good. you may not be a fan but you will say tha tthey are good. Just bad timing for them screwing up thats all. the tabs are great and they are gonna be great. the whole place can now be great. as i say let me show you folks and then we can finally start looking at running a proper forum and not just a wee forum between pals

We aim to please Dave. Other forums don't give you the options that we do. Took me bloody 9 months to get that sidebar in. I didnt want to not give people the option. ps the old forum skin is chooseable again. If folks dont like the extra forums on it then you will have to 'close' them bby clicking the box to the right of the forum. again though we will make sure that everyone is catered for.
