Tab Tops

Don't think half the forums have disappeared, we have just added a set of tabs to the top of the forums to tidy the place up a bit and all the regular forums can be found in them.

They may seem awkard at first but after 5 mins you'll see they save a lot of time and effort on the pointy finger as we no longer have to scroll down forever to get where we want.

all the tabs bar poker and main are kaput slick. Sod it we'll get there. Be great hearing folks all shouting hwne they come in 'THESE TABS ARE SHITE YOUVE RUINED THE PLACE WE NEED CONTENT NOT TABS' - To me we need tabs to hold the content. Aye once its back working proper and we manage to sort out the new poker forums to suit i would say that we will be one step closer to caring about content

Just dawned on e that we have all the forums in the sidebar - phew and hurrah for the sidebar.

Dont worry about the 'jumping' folks as that will be gone and the whole things works quite nice. Now i can stop worrying and maybe go look at my football coupon.

also the OLD FORUM style has been turned off till we make it compatible with the tabs. remember folks don't judge the tabs as they are the now as they aint working proper

Also slick it doesnt look like the cookie is working to keep the chosen tab selected when navigating through the forum. It was woring before so i suppose we shouldnt be too concerned

Take this whatever way you like, but it's intended purely as a comment, not a criticism - I don't really see the need for it.

Previously there was the option to click on the "+" sign and close down the sections you didn't use, so you never had to scroll down all that far (well you didn't unless you use absolutely all the forums), and you had the advantage of having all the forums you actually wanted on the same page. Now you have to actively go looking for them.

That said, if you view the threads through the "New posts" option, it doesn't really matter much, so in that sense it doesn't really affect me, just an alternative point of view.

my opinion ... i like the tab option but i've been here a few years and know my way round , the tab options may make it a bit confusing for new members who are likely to post
i'm a "new posts" navigator so it will not affect me much
