What Would You Like?

Im working on forum menus at the mo. I should be able to have a bar across the top of this forum with pull down boxes with links in them. What would you like them?

Ive got the usual like bbc vidiprinter, football365 stats etc. What else would people like to aid them whilst browsing the brit forum?

go on give me one suggestion. think of it in your head. sound it aloud in in your head a few times whilst you press the REPLY button bottom left. then you just type something like errrrrr www.betbase.info and then you click return. you wont get a big message saying CONGRADULATION ON POSTING and a fanfare will not blow. It will however be appreciated by me a man who just wants to offer you all the best that i can

well thats a bugger Keggers as we've been trying to make one for 2 years. I refuse to have anything to do with our odds page. I was pretty close to sussing it all out before i had to start all this frontpage stuff and im 90% sure we'll have one in place for the new season. Till then Keemanan is looking at getting loads of bookie scrolling banners if thats any help to you all



Nah i know hat you mean Kegman and i will get the best for you. to me its all about ease and everything either being there together or just a button click away and a button click that will not disturm what your doing. We can't push other people's odds pages as that would just be cutting our throats. As mentioned ive sat here for a week till i sold my last guitar last week with no food and no cigs so i aint gonna encourage folks to click on other sites bookmakers links im sorry. I might want whats best for you all internet wise but i aint no oddchecker's bitch

Its a tough one Komp, as you will have covered the main sources of information, ie BBC, football365, an odds checker. The things I need are the bookies, the form, the tables, team news and the best prices. Then a vidiprinter of some kind as well and results and post match analysis.

A substantial fixture list would also be appreciated.

I always like to have a look at http://www.soccerway.com/ - has leagues from all over the place and easy to look at tables and results/fixtures. Maybe not the best for the big leagues, but it is great for the others.

what i would like would be a reduced version of the livescores ,would settle for the recent scores but if possible a certain league e.g. Welsh .
I suppose this one is more of personal request , would it be possible to have the livescores on the screen while working on something else e.g. word , excel etc .I suppose a tickertape for latest scores similar to what keg suggested.

Cheers chaps. I thought i was here to read folks whining about my whinging. As mentioned wittmann i wont be promoting odd sites im afraid. im only being honest with you. I'll sort your website thing out for you too.

Tickertape scores shouldnt be a prob Traeth ill sort that one out. as i say i was nearly understanding things about xml feeds etc before i went off for a few weeks with this. also traeth i was wondering if you'd like to be involved with www.britfootball.com You can be a wee bit involved if you just cover the welsh side of things for the site or else you could be a big bit involved if you were willing to look after the english side (along with another) I'm gonna do the scot's 1-2-3 and someone i've asked im hoping to get in for the other bits. Anyhow i'll talk about that later ass it www.aussiesoccerstats.com this week.

We cant have wraps in the forums as the last thing you want is to be mid post, realise you need to check something and suddently your page s full of the other site and its by by post. thats why i think a link to a static page (on that opens in a new window) and then fill that full of links like that would make life easier. it took me about 10 minutes on saturday to go through all the club sites and forums in scotland. Just click look bang back click look etc. no arsing about with favs etc. You'll also note folks that i do have odds checker on RMG as RMG's is all about making my life easier. its my homepage.

jbg hows a bout a nice list of all the other horse racing forums? we could have them in a nice menu. to me it aint about competition i just want TDP members to have as much user friendly info as they can get to their fingers. To me if you give folks the links to get info then they'll be more forthcoming in revealing their info. Thus we have a busier forum and i am happy.

i'll help with the welsh bits , cannot commit myself to dedicating a lot of time yet ,not sure what my work situation will be like after June so come back to me then
