what are you using?
Does it usually auto update ok? If yes what have you changed?
If it worked yesterday or the day before try a system restore to when it worked.
Sorry Win, I forgot about this last night. I would guess that licreg.exe is something to do with the licence for the software. Is this free software or did you pay for it? Also have you installed any new software recently? like ms updates or anything? You could try uninstalling and reinstalling it, if its a firewall as well make sure your disconnected from the net when you do this.
