A question about Rapidshare?

I wish I was more clued up in IT...

My next problem. I joined Rapidshare for a month recently, but I have major problems trying to sort out the downloads. All the downloads tend to be in parts, but when I download - for example - a avi. file, I just cannot get them to play.. They are in packed in a rar. format, but I have problems extracting the files. Am I meant to 'join' them to together somehow?? Is it really straight forward.. ?

Once installed it shouls associate itself with rar files , then you need to double click a rar file and it should kick in , then unpack it somewhere and hey presto

Cheers Keema.. Unfortunately I do have winrar..

It starts to unpack the file but then comes up with some kind of error message.. I'll see have I can screen print it as I can't remember the wording..

So...I download part 1 of an avi.file packed in winrar and then once downloaded I start to extract it, and when it gets to 13% completion of the extraction this message comes up...



It seems to ask for part 2.. It seems to be something that should be easy to explain (well it probably is.!).. It's just I can't grasp it !

Looks like your missing a file , you'll have to go back to the site and look for it ,otherwise your doing nowt wrong there. You must be unlucky or getting the files from a dodgy site
